SON OF HADES

Chapter 1

My name is Josh Witfork, i'm just a normal average everyday teenage guy. You know, go to school, get bored in school, come home from school, do my homework and basically play minecraft on my laptop, all while my mom is at work.

Then there's this one day when it's a little different than all the rest, I go to school and right after lunch these three people come up to me knock me out and kidnap me. After the involuntary rest I wake up with a headache, in an infirmary?

After a little bit one of the three that kidnapped me came over to me and said "you where out for five hours, my name is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon". "Right and I'm superman." I sarcastically say " are you talking about the Poseidon from Greek mythology?" Percy responds "Good so you know who I'm talking about. I don't know who your godly parent is but I do know that your a..." "...Demigod." I finish, then he introduces me to the two other people who kidnapped me, Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood.

"My name is Josh Witfork, and I'm assuming you two are demigods too?" Annabeth answered "I am a daughter of Athena he's a setyr." "Ohh" I say "so that explains the donkey legs." Grover got a little mad and said " they're goat legs." then the explosion.

all around the magic thing I saw white, fiery explosions. With everyone shouting I could barely hear Percy yell "follow me!", so I did the only logical thing: follow Percy to what looks to be an armory. Percy said "let's get you a weapon, are you better with a bow, sword or dagger?" "I don't know" I answer "i've never fought off mythical monsters before, give me a sword."

you know: monsters look much more uglier up close. Percy got out his pen/sword thing and Grover and Annabeth both got a spear. Them three are a great team, Grover and Percy distracted it while Annabeth got behind the monster and cut the head off.

"That was fun" I said, Percy immediately responded with "That's not THAT weird, let's get you to Chiron.

"So how do you guys know that i'm a demigod?" I ask. "There's a new prophecy that said a team of eight demigods now technically Grover is not a demigod, that and Percy had a vision of a 13 year old in your school, so we knew you were the eighth demigod." Chiron explained.

That's the first chapter in my first book, I'm sorry if you like 13 page long chapters, but hey, it's my first time writing a book.
