The Days of the Festival has begun as New Students flocked to Vale
That caused a certain someone to enact a plan to "observe" said transfer students
More like Spy on the Competition
Team RWBY rushed to Vale to check out the new faces but what they encountered was Jaune walking down the streets
Ruby: hey look! It's Jaune! He....
Weiss covers her mouth quieting her down
Weiss: Shhhh! You simpleton!
Yang: jeez Weiss your more crabbier than usual.
Weiss: we aren't here to loligag we're here to observe our future classmates.
Blake: don't you mean spy?
Weiss: "observe". Aaaaand I am curious about that Arc fellow. There is nothing much about him....except that he went missing since he was a baby.
Yang: WHAT!? Did he....
Blake was scrolling
Blake: it seems he was able to return a month ago.
Weiss: well let's see what's he up to he's a total mystery....he can use elements without the use of dust.
Ruby: maybe it's something he's wearing.
Blake: No I didn't see any Dust on his person.
Yang: hey there he goes.
They see Jaune just taking a stroll as team RWBY followed close behind him
He came across a begging child asking for money to buy food
He took the kid by the hand and went to a restaurant, he sat the child down as he ordered enough for two people
He gave the kid a meal and he hungrily ate it quick as Jaune sat there enjoying a cup of tea
Team RWBY was dumb founded at what they saw
Jaune saw the kid wolf down his food and he offered him his share seeing the kid's state
After the kid finish both meals Jaune gave him a few Lien and let her on her way
???: that was quite generous of you.
Can you offer that to us too?
He turns around and saw a band of thugs
???: come on be a pal.
Meanwhile
Nora: hey guys whatcha......
Team RWBY grabs her and hid in the bushes soon followed by Pyrrha and Ren
Pyrrha: what are you guys doing?
Weiss: shh! Look!
She points at Jaune and the mook squad
Jaune: why would you need it? You seem to be capable young and energetic men.
Do you ruffians have somewhere you need to be?
???: quick get his wallet!!!
The goons pounced on their prey.
Pyrrha tried to rush in to help but was stopped by Ren who shakes his head
Jaune expertly dodges all the jabs and strikes as he tries to calm them down
Jaune: this doesn't have to end in a jail cell.
You can just walk away and nothing would have happened.
Thug 1: stop preaching and gives us the money!!!
