Beyoncé:

"How you gone have a baby without a baby shower?" Kelly asks.

"Easy." I shrug.

"My niece needs a party." Kelly says.

"Your niece is in an amniotic sac. She won't know what's going on." I say.

"It's tradition and I know the perfect venue." Michelle chimes in.

What's the point in renting a venue to hang out with girls that be over here all the time anyway?

"I don't care. I don't want one." I say.

I really don't feel like having a party that reminds Megan and me we don't have families.

The only people that would be there are me, Meg, her 2 friends and my 2 friends.

"Beyoncé, be for real." Kelly sighs.

"Kelendria, I am." I respond.

"Megan, help us out here." Michelle says.

"If she don't want a shower we not having one." Meg says without looking away from her video game.

"Thank you, baby." I smile.

I don't know why they thought Megan was going to go against me on this.

"Pussy whipped." Kelly quips.

"Absolutely." Megan responds causing me to giggle.

I love how she doesn't hide how she feels about me.

"Ugh." Michelle sighs. "Y'all suck."

"Baby showers are for gifts anyway, we have everything we need and y'all don't have any damn money." I remind them.

They just want to throw a shower for the meatballs if we being real.

"Oop. Not too much on us." Michelle laughs.

"Like damn, bitch. Everyone wasn't born with a silver spoon in their mouths." Kelly jokes.

"The spoon had poison on it. That's why I spit it out." I laugh.

"And then got pregnant by a rich girl." Michelle jokes.

"Why am I in it?" Megan asks still shooting aliens or whatever her game got her doing.

The baby kicks me in the rib and I wince in pain.

Megan pauses her game and is kneeling in front of me in an instant.

"You okay, baby?" She asks searching my eyes.

"I'm good. Your daughter is practicing martial arts on my ribs." I chuckle caressing her cheek.

"Aye, take it easy in there." She says to my stomach.

The baby kicks again in response.

"Oop. Not backtalk at negative 2 months old." Megan jokes.
