Plot:- Sara and Shubman have been dating since two years.

The sun had set, casting a golden glow over Sara's room as she and Alysha lounged lazily on her bed, chatting about everything and nothing. Laughter echoed through the room as they shared stories from the week. It was a typical evening until they heard Anjali's voice calling them down for dinner.

"Girls! Come have dinner!" Anjali's voice came from the dining area. Alysha and Sara exchanged a glance before rolling off the bed, stretching lazily.

As they made their way to the dining room, the smell of spices and freshly made chapatis filled the air. Anjali was bustling around the kitchen, while Sachin, sat at the table, looking in his phone. The scene was comforting, familiar.

As they sat down, Anjali started serving the food, casually mentioning, "By the way, kal Karwa Chauth hai. I'll be keeping the fast for your father, like every year."

The statement hung in the air for a moment. Sara, mid-bite, froze, her eyes widening slightly. "Aai, can I keep a fast too?" she asked impulsively.

Everyone at the table stopped. Sachin left his phone, and Alysha almost dropped her fork, staring at Sara with wide eyes. "What?!" Alysha blurted out, her shock reflecting what everyone else was thinking.

"Sara, beta, you've never done a fast in your life," Anjali chuckled. "And Karwa Chauth is traditionally for married women."

Sara, however, was not about to back down. There was a determination in her eyes that no one had anticipated. "I know it's for married women, but... I want to do it this time. For Shub."

Sachin shook his head slightly. "Beta, ye aasaan nahi hota. No food, no water, all day. It's very difficult."

"Baba, I really want to do it. Just this once," Sara said, her voice firm but gentle. "Shub is really important to me, and... I feel like this will bring us closer."

Anjali and Sachin exchanged a look. There was something in their daughter's voice that spoke volumes. Alysha, still processing, raised an eyebrow. "Sara, are you serious? Tu poora din bina paani aur khaane ke rahegi? Ye sab tujhse kaise hoga, aur vaise bhi tu toh abhi married bhi nahi hain?"

Sara turned to her best friend, her lips curling into a determined smile. "Main kar lungi and I know we're not married yet, but this feels important... something that brings us closer, ek nayi feeling. Shub ke liye kuch bhi."

After dinner, with everyone still processing Sara's decision, she and Alysha retreated to her room. There was a quietness between them now, a reflective pause.

Alysha finally broke the silence, her tone soft but concerned. "You're really serious about this, aren't you?"

Sara nodded, her gaze drifting to the window, where the moonlight was just beginning to cast shadows on the streets outside. "Haan, Alysha. It's not about tradition or following rules... it's about showing Shub how much he means to me. Karwa Chauth isn't just for married women anymore, na? It's a way to express love, and this feels like the perfect way."

Alysha sighed, shaking her head, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Well, I hope Shub knows how lucky he is. Tu toh ziddi ho gayi hai, aur Shub ke liye kuch bhi karne ko ready. But just remember, yeh fast asaan nahi hota, Sara."

Sara's smile softened, but the fire in her eyes didn't fade. "Shub ke liye kuch bhi," she whispered, her heart already set on the challenge ahead.
