After returning to the mansion, I went straight to my room. The moment I stepped inside, I let out a deep sigh, feeling the weight of the day settling in my bones. Shrugging off my jacket, I tossed it on the chair before heading to the bathroom.
The warm water cascaded over me, washing away the exhaustion, but not the thoughts swirling in my mind. Business has been rough lately, and I wasn't in the mood to deal with unnecessary drama tonight.
After a long shower, I put on a pair of skinny jeans, a navy blue t-shirt, and threw on a denim jacket. Saturday nights were always the same-I needed a drink, a distraction.
As I made my way downstairs, the faint sound of typing caught my attention. I spotted Hobi hyung sitting at the dining table, his fingers moving swiftly over his laptop's keyboard.
He was always working on something, but his face never lost that bright smile. It was like nothing in this world could bring him down.
"Hyung, where's Jimin and V hyung?" I asked, running a hand through my damp hair.
"They already left," he replied with a grin, his eyes flickering toward me before focusing back on the screen.
Of course, they did. Jimin had been eager to meet someone, and Taehyung never missed a Saturday night at the club.
I nodded, adjusting the sleeves of my jacket. "Alright, hyung. See you later."
As I turned toward the door, Hobi's voice stopped me. "Jungkook," he called, his tone lighter, but laced with something unreadable.
I glanced back. "Yeah?"
"Try not to get into trouble tonight," he chuckled, but there was a hint of concern in his eyes.
I smirked. "No promises."
With that, I stepped out, ready to lose myself in the chaos of the night.
