Those years have been wasted finding my self and make my life make it better again, i survive. But to find out that your weakness is making you face your fears again, is in another level.

After i wear my off shoulder bodycon black dress with sleeves with my hair in sleek back, i stare at myself in the mirror before i went out my hotel room.

I was quietly walking in the hallway alone and only the sound of my stiletto was hearing in the quiet hallway up till i slowly walk when i sense something wrong, i stop and stand where i stop.

I looked around in front of me with my eyes, before i slowly turn my head in the back and saw no one, i turn around and i walk in two step and stop again.

I walk inside the elevator before the door closed. "Check the hallway, make sure no one gonna come near him." I said in my intercom when i got inside the elevator.

I looked up the ceiling and saw the cctv was pointed at me with flashing green inside of it. "Noted, detective." Laura said in my earpiece before the elevator door open.

A lot of people greet me when i get out the elevator, madaming mga businessman and woman ang nandito na naguusap tiningnan ko ang paligid para hanapin si ruel at sa bandang hindi kalayuan ay nahanap ko na siya, lumapit ako hanggang sa nasa tabi na ako niya.

Naramdaman niya ang presensiya ko ng nasa tabi ko na siya, he looked at me head to toe because he was tall and my height was just in his neck i need to look up to see his face.

"You're finally here." He said.

"Like i said, and i need to protect you even we are out of the country." I said to him and he smile and looked in front of us and i looked at that person too and see a 40's man standing in front of us, it looked like a business owner.

"This is my lawyer, mr. Abel." Ruel introduce me to mr. Abel.

"Nice to meet you." He daid and hand out his hand which is i accepted.

"It's my pleasure to meet you too, mr. Abel." I said and take out my hand after that.

"I thought you have a relationship with her ruel, we are waiting to know the person you will lay your life with." Mr. Abel said that make me cough. He's just like him.

"That's not in my plan yet mr. Abel, but i hope soon. Excuse us for now, see you around." Ruel make his goodbye to mr. Abel before we left to go somewhere.

"Are you hungry?" He asked me while we're heading to the buffet area.

"Not yet, but a drink will do." I said to him before we stop in front of the food and drinks sa nga lamesa.

"Okay, wala ka na bang ibang gusto?" He asked, i shake my head without looking at him. I get a small plate and put a sushi in my plate while he get a two glass of wine for both of us before we left and head towards to our table.

Pagkaupo namin roon at tumabi siya saakin at umupo rin, i looked at him confused.

"You should entertain more people, you don't have to be with me all the time." I said to him but he just ignore me and sit beside.

"I rather be here than talk to everyone." He said looking at me, i shake my head and just my food.

The whole time we are sitting and finishing my food, a lot of people mostly women's are approaching him and talk to him pero hindi rin tumatagal dahil saakin, minsan may umiiwas pa kapag nakikita na magkasama kaming dalawa.

"You should be always with him, detective. We find something wrong in the system to the entrance of the event." I heard in my earpiece after i finish eating, i wipe my lips with the napkin and drink my wine in one shot.
