Changbin's POV
It was English period now and the teacher is assigning us into groups for the project writing. I got paired up with Hyunjin and Jeongin. I am actually new here and I have only heard that Hyunjin was very smart.
"So, can I use your exercise book for the draft writing if you don't mind?" Hyunjin glanced at me after asking.
"Umm, s..sure," I stuttered for no reason at all. I must make a fool out of myself whenever I talk to Hyunjin. "That's great," he exclaimed.
I figured out that Jeongin is a quiet one. He didn't participate unless it's about giving ideas in the writing most of which was quite comical. We had to write a letter for the School Departments for our school's improvement which was interesting. I was not really prone to the idea of the mobile class system in which Hyunjin was very interested but I let it slide anyways.
He is the mastermind here okay? I let him write anything. I gave him one or two ideas here and there just to give an impression that I really was listening. It was really fun coming up with a pen name for the letter since it has to be a group name.
The ideas that Jeongin gave are very interesting yet dark which made me scared of him. Hyunjin just came up with a lot of fun names which really doesn't make sense. I guess he isn't good at giving names and he isn't a fan of it.
I just came up with something right on the spot. It was "ChangHyunIN" which made them laugh out loud. I mean it is a pretty simple name with our names combined. "I should have known it before hand haha," laughed Jeongin which was new. I haven't seen him laugh or even smile the entire time we were working on the project.
After the class, Bangchan came and asked me "Bro, how was your project with your little crush dude," he asked while wiggling his eyebrows. "It...was ..okay," I replied.
"Why are you stuttering so much?" Minho came with an annoyed look. It must be because of Jisung didn't talk with him during the entire project which makes him moody.
"Nothing. And it is not our fault that Jisung didn't talk to you. Don't act moody with us," I exclaimed. "Fine, fine," was the only reply I got. He's always like that. He's such a pain in the neck but he is still our friend so I don't mind.
Minho's POV
Jisung didn't talk to me for the entire project! He only gave me short speeches when he's asking my idea on the writing. Maybe he thought that I was a quiet one, which I am not. I am the most annoying and noisiest in our friend group. I reckon that either he didn't notice me or even look at me.
Hyunjin has a really fun nature and a friendly aura around him. He can even make our Changbinnie laugh. That's a first in history! He would be a good friend and I even want to make him my best friend now. He is trying to help me with Jisung and I pretty much appreciate that. It's just that I know he is an open box. His friends could read him easily and the possibility of him blurting out my secret is over 50%.
I just have to remind him multiple times. I will do that over text when I get back home. For now, let's just focus on Jisung. If my memory is good, I recalled that I asked him if he wished to be my friend when we were in primary. He was pretty freaked out by me at that time and said, you guessed it "NO". It was pretty embarrassing to be honest but I decided not to give up and continue to love him till now. I wish he would recognize me someday.
I have to count on my friends and Hyunjin. His features are similar to Jisung but a bit more defined. Jisung's face is more squirrel-like while his is more like a ferret. OMG! What am I thinking? Focus on Jisung's face only, gosh! This is the mental fight I always have when I look at Hyunjin and Jisung at the same time. Please someone rid me of this confusion!
