Hello, sweethearts! I'm still on my break. Yesterday, I endured a nearly 12-hour train journey with no network-BSNL really does suck! Though the long journey was worth it,  for navratri, still network annoyed me so much. But despite the frustrating lack of connection, I managed to pour my thoughts into this chapter. Enjoy!

Let's dive in,

You belong to me now.

You belong to me now.

You belong to me now.

What it means?

Jimin's heart pounded in his chest,Jungkook's words were echoing, every beat erratic and wild as Jungkook edged closer. The smooth glass walls of the high-rise office reflected the shadows that twisted and danced with the tension choking the air. The hum of the city below was distant, almost unreal, against the stillness crackling between them, every breath threatening to set off the storm brewing in the room.

"S-Shadow," Jimin whispered, the word barely escaping his lips. A prayer-hushed and desperate. Yet, even as he spoke it, he knew the name carried an unspoken curse. Jungkook's presence loomed over him, dark and suffocating; his energy became a weight pressing on Jimin's chest, drawing him in like a living shadow. Every instinct screamed at Jimin to run, to pull back from the force that wrapped itself around him.

"Jungkook," the Shadow corrected, his voice smooth yet commanding. The way he said it sent a shiver down Jimin's spine, even as he flinched inwardly. Jungkook's fingers brushed against Jimin's cheek, the touch so light it felt like a caress. Jimin's skin burned beneath the faint contact, as though Jungkook had branded him, his body betraying the fear pulsing through his veins. "Call me Jungkook."

No one was allowed to call him that. Didn't this unsaid rule follow everywhere?

Jimin gasped, his mind spinning with the chaos inside him. Naming this man felt like unlocking a door to a darker reality-one he wasn't sure he could survive. He was caught between the primal force of Jungkook's presence and the terrifying awareness of what this man could do.

What did it mean to belong to shadow?

Jimin's head spun, images of a bedwarmer swirling in his mind, his chest tightening with shame and terror.

Jungkook's breath brushed Jimin's ear, sending shivers through him despite the cold dread that gripped his chest. "You're scared," Jungkook whispered, his voice velvety, heightening the tension. "But you don't have to be. You're safe with me."

Safe?

The word echoed in Jimin's head, dripping with irony. How could he feel safe in the presence of someone so dangerous, so possessive? The storm of emotions swirling in Jungkook's eyes-control and desire twisted together-only fueled Jimin's fear. Jungkook's version of protection wasn't the same as Jimin's; it was the kind that suffocated, entrapped, and consumed.

"I...I don't," Jimin stuttered, voice shaking, the words sticking in his throat like broken glass. He felt small in front of Jungkook, his fear constricting his chest; this, however, was all he had.
his only chance. "I can't just belong to you."

Jungkook's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing into slits of darkness, as though Jimin's defiance was an insult. The room seemed to close in around them, the walls drawing nearer. "You think you have a choice?" His voice dropped menacingly low, the words hitting Jimin like a cold blade. "You belong to me, Jimin. That's it. There's no getting out of that."

Jimin's heart clenched at the finality of Jungkook's words. The weight of his situation pulled him deeper into Jungkook's dark, uncharted waters. His thoughts drifted to the orphanage-the children are now trapped under this man's merciless grip. But even as Jimin fought mentally for them, he couldn't shake the growing feeling that Jungkook's true interest wasn't in the orphanage but in him.
