Danil arrived at the club at the exact same time he did last night, but the twins had not yet arrived. Danil didn't think much of it. The waiter quickly came over to greet him, recognizing him as a regular customer, and led him to the table where Danil and his friends usually sat. Danil ordered a drink for himself and began sipping it leisurely, still the star of the club that night, as usual. The atmosphere was inviting, yet it felt like there was a wall separating everyone, causing the young men who preferred the same sex to gaze at him with sparkling eyes, most of them knowing they could only look because they knew who Danil was.
"Leif, what do you think is the reason Kamol is withdrawing?" Danil asked his close bodyguard.
"I'm not sure either. He might be bored," Leif speculated.
"But I don't think that's it. Kamol shouldn’t be bored. There must be another reason," Danil muttered, contemplating this and thinking that he should find an opportunity to visit Kamol in Thailand sometime soon. While he was lost in thought and talking with Leif, the twins arrived, dressed to the nines.
"Hi, my dear friend, have you been waiting long?" Lana asked as she sat down next to Danil.
"A little while," Danil replied briefly.
"Where's your copycat?" Lenin asked, noticing the absence of Luka. Danil paused for a moment.
"He’s busy," Danil answered before calling the waiter to take the order for his twin friends.
"Hey, earlier today, we went to the spa, and guess who we ran into?" Lenin said, remembering something. Lana immediately leaned in closer to Danil.
"Who?" Danil asked in return.
"I ran into Fabi. As soon as he saw us, he made a jab at you," Lana said, referring to the young model who was often seen as Danil's rival, even though Danil didn't get as many modeling gigs as Fabi did.
"What did he say?" Danil asked back, raising his wine glass to take a sip.
"Well, he just said that right now you’re on the decline, not getting many modelling jobs like he is," Lenin said, expressing his annoyance at Fabi. Danil smirked slightly.
"Forget that guy, I don’t care," Danil replied nonchalantly.
"Why not?" Lana immediately asked.
"Well, I don’t see why I should be angry. Even though I don’t have many modelling jobs coming in, I still have money to spend. It doesn't bother me. Who do you think is more enviable?" Danil countered. Both of them paused for a moment before bursting into laughter.
"That’s true. What you’re saying is right," Lenin said with a chuckle. Danil didn’t bring up Fabi again. They sat for a while, and Danil’s eyes lit up when he saw Ivan walking into the club with a woman he didn’t recognize, heading straight to the VIP lounge.
"That’s your brother, isn’t it?" Lana said eagerly because she had a crush on Ivan.
"By the way, who is that woman?" Lenin asked curiously. Danil turned to look at Leif.
"She’s a client that the boss went to talk to," Leif said, as sometimes Ivan would bring clients here for drinks as a thank-you gesture.
"Hey, should we go say hi to your brother?" Lana suggested.
"Ivan is with a client; I don’t think we should interrupt right now," Danil interjected. Lana made a slightly disappointed face but understood that approaching Ivan while he was discussing business would likely not be well-received. Danil sat drinking while trying to think of ways to get Ivan’s attention.
