Earth in this fanfic will be a private military corporation known as Atlas and they would be around for about 50 years before the clone wars and they would be located in the galactic North and it would branch off to the right controlling that entire sector of space other then a few secret hyperspace lanes the only way of gaining access to atlas territory is through the planet Sernpidal

Now the little bit of their history they achieved spaceflight in the year 2178 but discovered hyper drives by the year 2234 and because of that they were able to colonize worlds along their sector of space and for a few centuries earth was known as united Teran government or UTG well until around the year of 2500s where a mega corporation that rival the size of the government declared war they were known as the IMC or the interstellar manufacturing corporation and the war lasted roughly around 100 years until a treaty was formed that united both factions into the atlas corporation and that brought a new age of technology and after that they were able to rebuild into a better more effective, faction so the by the time 2700 hundreds they were much much better and they did find out about the Republic and made first contact through the planet of sernpidal and that's when they were able to announce themselves as a private military corporation and anyway, they acted as their own independent faction in terms of politics, they had a lot of political favors, which allowed them to go around the Ruusan reformation utilizing political favors and paying some corrupt politicians and militarize as much as atlas wants and they kept quiet about their military capabilities. No one really exactly knows what's the strength of the military numbers all that also the Hutts hate mainly because they actively disrupted hutt slave trades and the hutts would actively sabotage Atlas corporation
roughly 2 years before the clone wars count dooku who would actually approach atlas wanting them to join the confederacy of independent systems count to who wants them to help him overthrow the Republic and place the confederacy of independent systems into power they would help the CIS, but they would not be an official member of the confederacy of independent systems they will be in an ally and would support the CIS under a few conditions they would be an ally the CIS will not have control over Atlas military assets and when atlas conquers Republic territory, they will keep the territory and the atlas must have free access to confederacy territory and intern the confederacy will have access to atlas territory
When dooku saw these conditions, he was a bit iffy about not having control over atlas military assets but having access to Atlas territory, he is happy with these conditions but atlas an unofficial member that is something his master problem expected to some degree but it would most likely cost some problems for the grand plan and after that he would request to see their mainline ships
Atlas would be fine with that and they would be fine with that and they would show their backbone of any atlas fleet the Luna class cruiser
