When Gojo Satoru set out to find Megumi Fushiguro, he didn't expect the child to be under someone's care!
Especially if that someone is one that Toji himself considered a "Kindred spirit like himself"!
"Who're you?"
"..."
Silence wrapped the atmosphere as no one moved. The air felt stagnant and cold but one thing for sure was-the two individuals didn't dare to move. Satoru crossed his arms while his psychopathic smirk didn't let up not even once. Yu, on the other hand, hummed a small tune; amused at the unnerving energy around them both.
"You're the real Yu?" Satoru glared,
"No way, how can you wear that embarrassing Apron?" Satoru deadpanned. Yu had a vein mark out of annoyance at Satoru, "Shut up, no one asked you."
Yu have a sigh, "I take it that certain consciousness took your ass out for four hours to complain about the predicament-", Yu then gave Satoru a mocking smile, "How pathetic."
The teen then had a vein mark, "Shut up, no one asked you."
"Anyways is that really your question?" Yu questioned which made the teenager nod in agreement. Yu scoffed and ruffled her hair, "The Yu you know now is just an empty vessel. Has no personality, no goals, no wishes, just a desire to protect that urchin haired brat. Nothing too fantastic." Yu explained.
"I'm what's left of her original persona. what's left of the original Yu that once existed in this plane of existence. Unfortunately, I can't make that many appearances without upsetting others."
Satoru wanted to pull his hair out, "Then what the hell are you?"
Yu giggled before putting her pointer finger in front of her lips, "Something that a certain clan has tried to forget."
Yu then released a bit of her cursed energy, "Let's make a deal then; a bet of sorts-I tell you half of the mystery and you find the other half."
"What's the bet then?" The white haired male grumbles, "If you find out the full mystery-I'll do anything you ask of me once. If you don't, then I would like to get even with you."
"Even?"
"You took something precious from me then I'll take something precious from you."
Satoru felt shivers run down his spine at the demon's answer, "Do we have a deal then?"
"Deal."
"My mystery....mmmm...I was just like you."
Yu began,
The female sat on the invisible chair position like one one's business.
"My birth tipped the scales of Jujutsu forever, I was considered the strongest sorcerer of my time. Expectations, rules, deals, everything you've ever experienced, I already went through."
Yu's red eyes then gazed up at the ceiling, "However, instead of being loved and celebrated, I was feared and hated. Everywhere I went, the only feeling I've even felt was hostility. Why? Because I was too neutral. I never cared for the world of jujutsu nor I saw myself as a protector. I went with the flow of my own desires."
Satoru gulped at the revelation. If Yu was someone so powerful, how come he never heard of her? If her birth was anything like his, then something should've been written. When he looked up Yu, nothing ever came up on the archives-not a single thing. Here he is, getting nervous at the secret just revealed to him.
"One day, I met a kindred spirit. A young boy with much potential but hated like I was-I took him under my wing. I protected him, taught him, and even loved him like a family. I promised him to never abandon him and always be there for him. I promised that even if I lost everything one day, he would still remain in my heart."
Yu then glared at the ceiling as her teeth clenched in anger. Her cursed energy darkened as Satoru saw her shadow grow longer.
"Then the day came when I lost everything. The promise I held turned me into this. I kept my word but I became a walking contradiction. Alive and dead; human and beast; kind and cruel; loving and hateful."
Yu then scoffed,
"Now here's your mystery, the night that 1/3 of the Zenins were wiped out was caused by me. It was a promise I made as well. The boy lost everything that day so I made sure to get even as well. So, who am I? Inumaki Yu is what I'm called but perhaps you'll have a better chance finding out who I was before."
"That's all?" Satoru questioned and the female nodded, "Until next time, Gojo Satoru."
Yu suddenly fell to her knees as the once dark energy also dissipated. Satoru heard a groan and saw Yu holding her head. The blonde blinked a few times as her eyes were back to the normal golden-violet hue.
"Yu?"
The said female tilted her head in confusion. Satoru gave a sigh of relief finding closure that the nanny was back to normal. Satoru walked towards Yu and crouched down in front of her.
"Good to have you back to normal. You had everyone worried."
Yu furrowed her brows in utter lost. The hell did Satoru mean back to normal. All she remembered was being almost swalllowed by an ugly cursed spirit...wait swallowed....swallowed?!
Yu felt herself turn into stone. The blonde grabbed Satoru and started shaking him back and forth in utter panic. Satoru felt his soul almost leave his body on how hard Yu was shaking him.
"C-calm d-o-wn! Me-Megumi is f-f-fin-e!"
The young guardian stopped, ignoring Satoru's eyes spinning around. Satoru shook his head and abruptly gave a hug towards Yu, "Next time, don't go off alone in the dark towards an alley."
Yu felt herself blushing but nodded nonetheless.
Suddenly, the door was slammed open, "DIVINE DOGS-"
Satoru was then attacked by both a black and white blurs.
"GET AWAY FROM YU, YOU PERVERT!!" The seven year old Megumi yelled with fury. The boy was ready to summon the electric chicken if Satoru doesn't get away from Yu.
Yu froze at the appearance of Megumi, though she doesn't understand the sudden anger...
Satoru put his infinity on and stopped the tiny ankle biters from almost mauling him, "WHAT DID I DO TO YOU?!"
Megumi's expression darkened, "You will never get my blessing! So die already!"
"Blessing?!" Satoru was now more confused than ever.
Megumi charged forward with a battle cry.
Due to the chaos, everyone ignored a certain brown haired female sorcerer that may or may not have said something that caused the little brat to attack Satoru. What she said? Well, take a guess.
Yu giggled to herself.
Satoru was using his leg to hold off a rampaging Megumi as the two Shikigami were biting both his arms.

I'm breaking this chapter into two parts cuz I'm lazy asf right now....hehehe just kidding. Mostly cuz it's a chapter with a lot of info and world building.
