"Belgium 1831"Mr.Matthews said looking at Farkle.
"Yes?"said Farkle looking up hopefully.
Mr.Matthews was about to continue when someone walked in the door.
Oh no.....
"I can't believe you guys started without me!"He said,"Someone here is gonna be excited to see me."
I looked down immediately.
"Do you have a transfer slip?"Mr.Matthews asked.
"Yes I do.Take a look at my grades,let me just single to you."He said handing over a packet,"D, D, D, D, D, D, F!"
"Shawn Hunter.Moved from Philadelphia,Pennsylvania."Mr.Matthews said.Everybody looked at me.
"Shawn, what are you doing here?"I didn't want to remember anything from my past.
"Well, I'm waiting for a better reaction from you."Shawn said.
"Don't mention anything,Hunter."I warned.
He looked shocked.
"Wait, so they don't know you're older than them?"
I groaned.
"They do now."I looked at Riley.
"Maya what's going on?"Riley started shaking.
"I...I...um."I started.
"Maya,are you sure?"Mr.Matthews asked.I nodded.
"I'm not actually....I'm not from New York.I'm not 13 and my mom isn't my real mom."I said looking down.
"What!?"Lucas, Farkle, and Riley exclaimed looking at me.
"I lived in an orphanage for most of my life.I got in a fight one day and got kicked out because I put him in the hospital.My....Katy Hart adopted me that same day.I left behind everything and everyone.We came here because nobody knew me."I said.
Shawn pointed at me.
"I knew her!"He said smiling.
"Not now, Hunter!"I yelled.He put his hands behind his back.
"Mr.Hunter have a seat over there."Mr.Matthews said pointing behind Lucas.He sat down.
"Wow Maya, I don't know you at all."Riley said turning the other direction.
I got up and walked out the door.
