I followed Maya out the door.
"How come you didn't tell me?"I asked
.She was leaning against the lockers.
"Because I didn't want you to treat me like a charity case."Maya said standing up.
"You should've told me!"I exclaimed out.
"Well it's not my fault I didn't want you to know I put a kid in the hospital!"Maya yelled back.
My dad, Shawn, Lucas,and Farkle were standing behind Maya.
"Why did you do it?"I asked.
"I was protecting a friend."Maya said,"They called him a dirty scumbag.What was I suppose to do?!"
I saw Shawn look down.
"Who was this friend?"I asked looking at Shawn.Maya turned around.
"Him."She pointed at Shawn.Shawn looked up awkwardly
