Marjorie had just finished packing up all of her stuff into cardboard boxes and putting them in her car. She fought so hard to stay strong, even during the most painful time of her life. After she put the last box into the car, she took Reece's house key off of her keychain and put it through the letterbox. Of course she locked the door before she did this.

She got into her car and let out a sad sigh. She brought her hand to her stomach and closed her eyes. "I promise I'm going to look after you." She said quietly. Before she knew it, tears fell from her eyes and she didn't even try to stop them. She had to go back to her old house before Reece came back. She was lucky she didn't sell the house when she moved out.

Once she arrived, she had forced herself to stop crying. She started to take the boxes inside and unpack them. The house felt empty without Reece. Marjorie felt empty without Reece. She knew she had to be strong for her baby.

It had been an hour since she came back. She finally finished unboxing everything and putting it where it belongs. Whilst she was doing this, she tried to distract her mind from what happened with Reece. Everything reminded her of him. Every single thing. She went to the bathroom and saw her bin. She immediately thought of Reece. It was stupid, but it was small things like that, that hurt the most. It was small, but the memory of how good he treated her was always with her.

Marjorie was questioning whether she should invite a staff member over. She knew she needed to tell someone. But who should she invite? Charlotte? Sorscha? Autumn? Winter? Not Mia. She would never. She didn't want to invite Carly either, she's only 17 and she's too young to know about what happened. Plus, she sees Marjorie and Reece like parents to her. Work parents. The thought of Carly knowing about her and Reece made Marjorie feel numb.

She eventually decided to call Autumn. Marjorie felt safe around her, even though Autumn didn't show much emotion in their friendship. But that's just Autumn's personality, everyone was aware of that. Marjorie grabbed her phone from her pocket, and searched for Autumn's number. "The Guard Dog". That's what her number is saved as on her phone.

**Ringing**

"Hello?" A soft voice spoke.

"Hiya, Autumn. I was just wondering if you're available to come over to my house now? Aorry, I know it's a bit sudden." Marjorie tried to sound as normal as possible.

"Ugh, that means I'll have to see my brother." Autumn replied, unhappy.

"No, you won't. I'm at my own house. The house I was in before.." Marjorie hestitated, "before Reece asked me to move in."

"Why on earth are you there?"

"Can you come over and I'll explain? Please." Marjorie didn't want to sound like a beg, but she was desperate.

Autumn sighed. "Fine. I'll be over in 15 minutes."

"Alright, thank you." She said that and ended the call.

Now, all she had to do was wait for Autumn. Nothing bad could happen, right?
