"Reece, darling. Please. It was an accident. I didn't mean to." Marjorie had accidentally knocked over a glass of milk and it spilled everywhere. The glass was shattered on the floor. Reece lost his mind that this happened.
"For God's sake, Marjorie. This could've easily been avoided. You're just so clumsy." Reece groaned, his voice slightly raised. "You know how many times I've had to replace glasses because of YOU?" He points his finger in Marjorie's face.
"Darling, please. I honestly didn't mean to." Marjorie's voice was shaking. She was terrified of this person. This wasn't the Reece she knew. "I can explain, there's a reason I haven't been myse-"
Reece cut her off before she finished her sentence. "SAVE IT." He yelled. The echo was frightening. "You know what? I'm done. Get out of my house and go back to your own." He walked to the door.
"Wh-what?" Marjorie stutters. "You don't mean that, right? We're in love, we're a couple. We can sort this out, darling." Marjorie slowly walks towards him.
"Don't call me 'darling'. I'm not your darling anymore." Reece couldn't even look Marjorie in her eyes.
"I-" Marjorie doesn't know how to respond.
"I'm going to go out for 2 hours and by the time I get back, I expect you to be out with all your stuff." Those were the last words he said to Marjorie before he took his car keys, walked out the house, and slammed the door.
Marjorie saw his car drive off and she began to tear up. She spoke quietly to herself, "I'm pregnant."
