Chapter 1

Marcus Prospective:
"ugh fuck" i said while shutting off the alarm, the clock read 6:00, I sat up in bed looking around, sunlight peered through the window, I got up and looked at the calendar, 3 days until my 17th birthday, I never looked forward to my birthdays. I walked over to my closet to take out my outfit for the day, just a white shirt with black jeans and my black hoodie, I walked over to my bathroom and did my business, I looked in the mirror and saw my hair was fuzzed up, been like that ever since I was a kid, I always gotten used to the fuzziness of my hair. I washed my hands and washed my face, I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my bag and shoes. I left my room, closed the door quietly, and headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen where I smelt bacon and eggs and toast,"Good morning Marcus" I heard Audrey say, Audrey had been my foster mother since I was a baby, she adopted me, she was such a sweet woman to me always helping me with my homework and never yelling at me because I always respected her, she was in her early thirties."Good Morning" I said, I sat down at the table helping myself to some bacon and toast, suddenly loud footsteps ran into the room,"DINOSAUR ATTACK" I heard a child yell, and suddenly without warning a stuffed dinosaur was thrown at me,"Kyle be careful you're going to knock things off the table" I heard Audrey say while putting down food on the table,"sorry mommy" I heard Kyle say, Kyle is my 7-year-old half brother, he's adorable in so many ways and he's so easy to get along with, he looks up to me because I'm his older brother, he's into dinosaurs cars reading video games, he likes spending time with me."Sorry Marcus" he said,"Its fine buddy you gotta to be careful next time okay" I said while giving him back his stuff dinosaur, he sat at the table pouring himself a bowl of Frosted Flakes, he was too happy this morning although almost every day he's always happy about something, that's how he was. Suddenly I feel nuzzling at the length of my feet and it looked down and there was Binx, he was a a sweet tabby cat, he was one years old and we adopted him earlier this year,"hi binxy" I said while petting him, Audrey sits down at the table to enjoy her breakfast," Marcus can you please pick up your little brother after school today, I have to stay a little bit after work because there's a meeting for an upcoming project", I nodded and said " of course I will", Audrey has always been a single mother, she manages to spend time with me and Kyle, she loves the both of us, we are the only things that she has. I start eating my breakfast, wasn't in a hurry to go to school,School has always been the same for me.im in my junior year for high school,I finish up my breakfast and put my shoes on, I walk back into the kitchen and Audrey gives me my lunch,"have a good day Marcus" she said with a smile, she gives Kyle his lunch,"see you later okay buddy" I said to Kyle, he smiles brightly and says "okay". I walk out of the house looking around, I pulled out my phone in my earphones and started walking to the bus stop, it felt cold out for  an Autumn morning, leaves on the trees Begin to Fall, I heard some dogs barking in the distance, the neighborhood was quiet and no people were around, my home life is amazing compared to my school life, Audrey doesn't know what goes on at school, I don't want her to feel stressed, she works all day and when she gets home she feels like relaxing and spending time with the kids she loves, she works as a waitress at a fancy restaurant, she enjoys the job. I got to the bus stop waiting for the bus, I had my earbuds in and I was listening to a song, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a car,it was a black car with darkened windows, I knew almost everybody in the neighborhood, I know everyone's car and what they drive, I never seen that car before, the car was a Chevrolet, I knew some of my neighbors had Chevrolets except for they had dark blue light blue red Gray, not black though, when I was looking at the car the bus appeared and the car drove away,"the hell was that" I thought to myself, I got on the bus and sat by myself looking at my phone, I wasn't paying attention to my music this time, I was still focusing on the car I had just seen.
