Morning light filtered through the curtains, casting soft beams across the room. Tyanna stirred, feeling the warmth of Jude's arm around her waist. For a moment, she lingered in the comfort of the morning, relishing the peacefulness that surrounded them.

Carefully, she slid out of his embrace, trying not to wake him. She tiptoed to the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face in an attempt to shake off the remnants of sleep. After brushing her teeth and taking a quick 15 minute shower, she pulled her hair into a messy bun, glancing at herself in the mirror. Today was just another day, she reminded herself.

When she returned to the bedroom, Jude was awake, rubbing his eyes and stretching like a content cat. "Morning, sleepyhead," she said to him as he smiled softly, sleep still present in his eyes

"Morning!" he replied "What time is it?"

"Almost ten. You ready to tackle the grocery list?" she asked, trying to keep the mood light.

"Yeah. I'm hungry" he said, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. "Let me shower, and I'll be right out." he said as she nodded heading before she rummaged through her bag for something comfortable to wear. She settled on a simple crop top and a pair of sweat pants, throwing on a light jacket since the weather looked a bit unpredictable. She then headed down stairs as grabbing herself a small glass of orange juice

Once Jude emerged from the bedroom, white T-shirt, white air forces and black Addidas track pants looking effortlessly handsome, he flashed her a smile. "Ready?"
"Always," she replied, and they headed out to his car, the morning air crisp as crisp can ever be

The drive to the supermarket was filled with easy conversation and laughter, the kind that made the world outside seem distant. Tyanna loved these moments, where it felt like it was just the two of them against the world. When they arrived, they parked and headed inside the grocery store before a few fans stopped them of course, they took pictures and signed a few things before making their way inside

"Let's make a list," Jude suggested, pulling out his phone. They started wandering the aisles, picking up fresh fruits and vegetables while teasing each other about their choices.

"Bananas? Really? You're just going to let them get all brown and mushy?" Jude joked, grabbing a few oranges.

"They're great for smoothies, and they're a good source of potassium," she retorted
"Okay miss chemistry" he joked again making her roll her eyes playfully

They moved to the dairy aisle, continuing their lighthearted banter, arguing about if mozzarella was better than cheddar cheese and if vanilla yogurt was the best yogurt flavour when suddenly Jude's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen, his expression shifting to something more guarded. "Uh, excuse me for a second" he said, stepping a few feet away.

Tyanna resumed browsing the yogurt section, but a sense of unease settled over her as she noticed Jude's demeanor change. She couldn't help but steal a glance in his direction. "Who is he talking to?" she whispered to herself before brushing it off and looked back at the yogurts

"Laura." his voice colder than it had been with Tyanna as he felt his heart beating at a quicker pace than it was before. He wanted to know why she was calling after all they did break up a few months ago due to multiple rumors, pictures and videos of her going around flirting with other celebrities and men and although she never confessed or did he have solid proof of cheating...his name and the rumors was something he couldn't keep dealing with

"Hey Jude" she replied her high pitched voice sang as he felt the smirk on her face

"What do you want?"

"I just wanted to call out to let you know that I miss you and I really want to see you tonight"

"I'm busy," Jude continued, clearly trying to keep the conversation short.

"Please Jude, I really need you right now, you're all I have and my girlfriends haven't been able to help me the way you do" a hint of hurt peaked in her voice, his gut knew not to trust her but she did really sound hurt, not knowing if it was one of her tricks again

"Fine, Tonight?" Jude's voice hardened. "Yes tonight my love" He paused, his heart beat speeding up...the words 'my love' filling a void making him give in

"Ill be there."

"I know you will"

The call ended and Jude walked back to Ty, a bit fidgety knowing he had to lie to her

When Jude returned, his expression was unreadable. "Everything okay?" Tyanna asked, a bit concerned for her bestfriend

"Yeah, just...Football meeting" he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "They want to see me tonight"

"A football meeting on a Saturday night? Last minute?"

"It's nothing," he said quickly, avoiding her gaze. "Just some nonsense. Let's focus on what we need for dinner."

"Really? It didn't sound or look like nothing. Are you lying to me?" She crossed her arms, trying to mask her growing concern.

"No I'm not" he absoloutley was "Our manager just wants to see us"

"Jude, are you sure?" she pressed, unable to keep the edge out of her voice.

"Yes I'm sure." His tone was firm, but she looked at him with the "I don't believe shit youre saying" look shaking her head slightly. "Just some football stuff," he said, shrugging it off. "Nothing important."

Tyanna stared at him

"It's just a call. Let's drop it," he insisted, turning his attention back to the cart.

They continued through the aisles, the atmosphere strained. Tyanna grabbed a few items, but her mind was racing. She wanted to trust him, but the nagging feeling wouldn't go away.

As they moved to the checkout, the tension hung in the air like a storm cloud. She tried to push her worries aside, focusing instead on the groceries they needed. But the knot in her stomach remained.

"Tyanna, you okay?" Jude asked, glancing her way.

"Yeah," she replied, forcing a smile. "Just... thinking about dinner."

"Let's just get through this shopping trip," he said, his voice softer.

With a small nod, she tried to take a deep breath and ease the tension, but the questions lingered in her mind.Did he really have a football meeting? Only time would tell, but for now, she hoped he would stay true to his word.
