DG X Reader: Pop Star

6. Boat

The music, cheers and chatter filled the air.

I was off to the side by myself.

There sure is a lot of people.

I was interacting with them all, getting to know them but now I'm tired.

I sighed.

I should get use to it. If I continue down this path, my life will be like this from now on.

SPLASH!

I looked around.

Is there a dolphin?

"HELP!"

Okay, not a dolphin.

I looked around again, squinting through the darkness.

"Please! Someone help me!"

"Hello!? Can you hear me!?" I called out, leaning over the boats edge.

"Please! Help me!"

I squinted and saw a woman splashing around desperately.

"Stay above water! I'll- I'll be right back!"

I turned and ran, looking around.

"Are you okay?"

I turned and saw DG, shirtless with a few girls as well as Gun and Goo.

"DG! Someone fell over!"

"What?" He tilted his head.

"Come on!" I grabbed him and pushed my way through the crowd.

"Please!"

I leaned over the edge as her screams were sounding weaker.

DG leaved over and spotted her.

"I'll grab a life jacket."

"Where are they!? I looked everywhere for them!"

"Downstairs."

"CRAP, there's no time!" I took a deep breath "I'm an idiot!"

"What are you- HEY!" DG shouted as I threw myself over.

Ugh!

I belly flopped but wasted no time.

I remembered my sister telling me once that if you're ever saving a drowning person, do it from the back.

If you come at them from the front, they'll probably drown you in their desperation.

I swam behind them as they started to go under and hooked my arms under hers.

She coughed and I pulled her towards the boat.

There was a loud splash and I looked over.

Did anther person fall!?

How am I going to save two people!?

An arm wrapped around me and I coughed, spitting out salty water after it splashed in my mouth.

GROSS!

"Give her to me!" DG shouted and I did.

He put the lifesaver around her and she was pulled up by Goo.

DG kept his grip on me as a wave pushed us against the boat.

I coughed and spit out more water.

Ima be sick!

I hate the taste of ocean water.

I imagined all the poop, pee, bacteria and dead bodies in the water that just went in my mouth.

The lifesaver landed next to us and DG threw me over his shoulder before grabbing on to the red circle.

We were pulled up and he pushed me off him.

"Are you insane!?"
