I sighed and tucked some hair behind my ear.

My bodyguards walked behind me and I felt everyone look at me, whispering about me.

Pay them no mind.

I pressed the button to the elevator and waited.

Finally the doors opened and I stepped in with my bodyguards.

Just as the doors were about to close, a hand appeared and opened them again.

DG and his bodyguards walked in and I looked away.

Why am I feeling... insecure?

I don't know.

I waited in silence while the elevator went up.

Ding!

I stepped out with Fred and Alex, walking to my manager's office.

I knocked and then opened the door.

He looked at me annoyed and then smiled.

"DG, thank you for coming."

I looked over my shoulder and saw DG and his bodyguards.

"YN, get in here so he can step through."

I walked in and sat on a chair.

"DG, YN invited you here to apologize to you."

"Wait,what?" I tilted my head.

He shot me a glare.

I crossed my arms and leaned back.

DG looked between us.

He sighed and took off his sunglasses.

"Anthony, I told you, I'm not apologizing for something I'm not sorry for and would do again!"

"YN, if he doesn't ruin your career, I will! Now apologize!"

"I'm leaving."

"Wait a minute." DG spoke up.

Ugh.

"There's no reason to ruin anyone's career."

We both stared at him.

"YN is right. Although she did put herself in unnecessary danger, I would have felt with bad press if someone died at one of my parties."

My jaw fell a little.

He looked at me.

"So, thank you." He said and I closed my mouth.

"Um, yeah. It's okay." I nodded.

"Perfect!" Anthony looked relieved.

Strange. The way he spoke and looked at me last time made me think I'd never hear a thank you.

"I'll be going now." I said at the same time as DG, standing up in unison.

"You two should catch up, have lunch. It's been a week and it would be good to be seen in public." Anthony smiled.

"I don't know." I looked at my watch.

"Why, you got nothing to do. All that's gonna happen when you get home is you're gonna sleep and eat."

I turned red.

"You can be rude sometimes, you know that?" I frowned.

"You just don't like hearing the truth. Now go save your image!"

"DG has more important things to do!" I snapped.

"Actually, I have my evening free. I could go for some dinner." DG shrugged, fixing his glasses now back on his face.

Great.
