Camerons eyes go wide and he looks down at my stomach. JJ is in the doorway and he looks pale.
"They're coming now?! They aren't due for another month!"
"Cam calm down and go get the diaper bags from their room. I packed it a few weeks ago."
He rushes out the room and I try to get up from the bed. JJ notices my struggle and comes to help me. I thank him and make my way downstairs. Cam comes down and rushes me to the car. I get in and he drives us to the hospital. Halfway there I notice he's stressing.
"Cammy calm down. The twins will be okay. We will make it there in time slow down just a little bit."
I rest my hand on his knee and he visibly relaxes. I smile and we pull into the hospital parking lot. He rushes me inside and up to the desk.
"MY HUSBAND IS IN LABOUR!"
The nurses swarm around and get me in a wheelchair. I'm led back to a room and Cam helps me in a gown. I lay down on the bed and Cam holds my hand. A nurse walks in and hooks me up to a machine and puts the IV in my arm.
"My name is nurse Kelly and I will be helping you throughout the birth of your babies. If you ever need me press the red button on the side of your bed. Now, how far apart are the contractions?"
"I feel them every 15-20 minutes and they started about an hour ago."
She nods and says she needs to check how dilated I am. She lifts up the sheets and says I'm about 5 centimeters already.
"Looks like your babies are anxious to meet you. I'll be in to check again in a hour. If needed you can get up and move around the room."
She leaves and Cam kisses my cheek and tells me to rest. I close my eyes and fall into a dreamless sleep.

I wake up to a heavy contraction and groan. Cam sees that im awake and rubs my stomach to try and ease the pain.
"Nurse Kelly checked you about 15 minutes ago and said you were 8 centimeters already. Shes gonna come again in a few minutes. I'm so excited to meet our little angels!"
He smiles at me and nurse Kelly walked in. I smile at her and she smiles back. She checks me and looks up at us with a huge smile.
"They're ready to get out."
She gets everything ready and I get ready to push. Cam comes and holds my hand.
"Okay, everytime I count to 3 I want you to push as hard as you can. Ready? 1. 2. 3!"
I start pushing and I squeeze Cams hand as hard as possible. I scream in pain and yell at Cam.
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Kelly laughs and tells me to push again. I push and I feel something pop out.
"Baby #1 is about to be out."
I push again and I hear the cries of my baby. Cam cuts the cord and they put the baby on my stomach.
"Hi baby. I'm your daddy."
They take her away. The first one was Carmen. I push again and after 2 more pushes Nate is out. I can't hear him crying though and I dont even get to see him before he's rushed out. I look at Cam and he says not to worry and Nate will be fine. I'm still worried because before he was taken I saw he was blue.
