It was another ordinary day in eddsworld, only difference being that only two of the four boys were home, that being Edd and Tom.
Tom was currently in his room while Edd was in the living room watching "insane zombie pirates from hell 4."
Everything was pretty calm overall.
However, Tom was doing something that no one would ever expect from him.
Tom was an age regressor and right now he was regressed at his youngest age, not even able to say words expect "dada."
No one in the house knew about Tom's age regression and Tom wanted it to stay that way.
He was worried that his friends would reject him and kick him out.
Would it stay a secret for long though?
Probably not, and that's exactly what happened today.
Tom was in his room in a onesie and pull-up.
He chewed on his pacifier as he hugged tomee bear and his blankie while watching cartoons, giggling ever so often.
Edd was starting to get a bit worried.
It had been around 3 hours since he last saw Tom and this wasn't like him at all.
Edd decided to go up to Tom's room to see what was wrong, hoping that he wasn't drinking Smirnoff again.
Edd stretched from his spot on the couch and made his way upstairs, stopping at Tom's door before knocking.
Tom being in his youngest headspace had no idea who was at the door.
This resulted in him staying silent.
"Hey Tom? Can I possibly come in?" Edd asked.
Tom was now starting to panic.
Edd couldn't find out about his regression!
Tears formed in Tom's eyes as he let out a sob, Edd running in a few minutes later, confused by what Tom was wearing and why he was crying.
Edd could have sworn he had heard about behavior like this, however he couldn't remember the name of it.
Edd eased his way over to Tom, making sure to be very gentle since he was having a panic attack.
"Hey Tom, can I give you a hug?" Edd asked, earning a nod from the other as he sobbed.
Edd sat on the ground and brought Tom up into his lap, hugging him as Tom cried into his shoulder.
"Shhh.. it's okay.." Edd soothed, still very confused on what was happening.
He reluctantly got his phone out and started researching, hoping to find answers.
After about five minutes he finally understood what was happening and wanted to comfort Tom as much as he could.
"Shhh little one, shhhh.." Edd soothed as he rubbed Tom's back.
Tom sobbed for a little longer until he finally calmed down.
Tom gripped onto Edd's hoodie, his hands made into little fists as he layed his head on Edd's chest.
Edd smiled as he looked down at the "baby" in his arms, cooing when he looked up at him.
"Da!" Tom said happily before babbling away to Edd.
Edd started to respond with things like "really?" "How cool!" Which made Tom giggle.
"Alright sunshine, let's let you play for a little bit!" Edd said cheerfully before picking Tom up and heading over to a toy chest in the corner of the room.
Edd got out a few soft toys like plushies and blocks.
He then got out a few rattles, putting them all on the floor before laying a big fluffy blanket down and placing Tom on it.
Tom cooed when the fluffy material hit his skin, running his hand over it for a little bit.
If there was one thing Tom actually adored in little space it would be soft textures.
After a few minutes of playing something totally unexpected happened that may have caused a few tears to prick at Edd's eyelids.
"Dada!" Tom giggled, crawling over to Edd and sitting on his lap.
Edd's smile grew wider as he took in what he had just heard.
"Did you say dada?" Edd said cheerfully.
"Ba!" Tom responded, sucking on his pacifier contently.
