Abhira was treated horribly for the last couple months. Armaan was her strength, and the chorus gang along with Papa, Chachasa and Chachi. Untill the last few days when Dadi sa offered a cabin to her, then Chachasa and Chachi sa become cold along with Armaan.
Abhira was feeling unwell for a couple of days, so Armaan decided to take her to the hospital where it was discovered that Abhira was pregnant, making both Abhira and Armaan very happy.
"Armaan, how am I pregnant? What about those reports?" asked Abhira confused.
"I don't know Abhira. But we need to find out. Let's get Papa involved."
The next few days, Abhira and Armaan kept to themselves. Their family were helping in trying to figure out how the reports and why the doctor lied about the reports. Finally, Madhav got a break. He found out who had bribed the doctor. It was his brother in law. Sanjay Bansal. That was the last straw. It seemed that their luck had turned. Things were looking up.
Madhav called an emergency family meeting also asking the Goenka's to be present.
"Madnav, what is going on? What is this meeting about?" asked Dadisa
"I will start. As you all know that the atmosphere in this house has been depressing" said Madnav
"What do you expect when your daughter is here" said Vidya
"Enough Vidya, not one word out of you. Maasa, I got a transfer. I have accepted the transfer. Vidya will stay here to take care of Rohit and Ruhi. I will be going to Somnath, to be a Police Commissioner there. I will be moving out there in a couple of days, but before I go, I wanted to clairify a few things."
"What things?" said Maasa, as she accepted the news.
"Dr. Mehta, the one who stated in her reports that Abhira couldn't become a mother, has been arrested for accepting bribes and changing a patient's medically reports. Abhira's reports were changed as per Sanjay Bansal's instructions." said Madhav, making Sanjay pale.
Sanjay started to stutter. "I didnt. Maasa."
"The police are outside, waiting for my instructions. Give up now." stated Madhav.
"You mean Abhira can get pregnant?" asked Vidya
"She is pregnant. And you will stay away from her and my grandchild." said Madhav
"But Madhavji. Abhira is my daughter in law, and shes carrying my grandchild too." cried Vidya
"You have tortured Abhira enough. She will be going to Somnath with me. No exceptions." ordered Madhav
"Ruhi Beta, Abhira didn't want you to know but your mother's death was an accident. You accidently put the gear in Neutral, and your Massi protected you all these years. She pulled you out and pulled the emergency brake, but the mother was hit." said Madhav
"No Papa. Masi killed my Matashri." cried Ruhi
"No. She didn't. I read the police report. Your masi was protecting you all these years. When Jamai-sa revealed your connection to Abhira, I went looking for the truth. You see if your Masi killed your mother, there has to be a police report and there was. So a couple days after that confrontation, I found out the truth and told Abhira and Armaan. And Abhira decided not to tell you. But the truth needs to come out." said Madhav
"I killed my mother. My Matashri." cried Ruhi
"It was an accident!" yelled Rohit "You were a child. An accident. Please calm down."
"You may come now." Madhav spoke into his bluetooth, as he gave instructions to his men outside.
The police took Sanjay away protesting.
Kaveri looked defeated at the news, the person she trusted the most destroyed her family. Vidya looked hopeful towards Abhira, hoping Abhira would forgive her.
"Papa, I'm going to the outhouse. Before I go I want to say something. Chachi sa, Chacha sa. I promise you, I had no intention of taking your place in the firm. I just wanted to work. All I ever wanted was to make my Mumma proud. But I did noticed that anything that goes wrong in this household is always my fault. I bet Kajal Phua sa must blamed me for Phufa sa's arrest, after all, who else is she going to blame. Not Phufa sa himself, after all, he must be above approach. Chacha sa not getting his own office was also my fault, since I must have asked, no I must have forced Dadi sa to give me an office. Rohit leaving this house a year was also my fault. After all, the favored Bahu couldn't be at fault. Well, now, I am out. Out of the company, out of this house and out of this town. Now, Ruhi, you won't have anyone to blame for your own insecurities. You can't handle not being the center of the families attention wither its your maternal or your inlaws. They all yours. I will never come back to this town." stated Abhira coldly
"Abhira, please. I'm sorry. Please stay. I need my sister. You are my sister." cried Ruhi
"I have no one. Just My Papa. Everyone else has blamed me something, but Papa, he trusted me. And if I did something, he forgave me." said Abhira smiling. "I'm very happy today. I am free now."
Abhira walked out the door towards the outhouse, with Armaan following her.
"Madhavji, you can't take Abhira with you? She's pregnant. Who's going to take care of her. She needs her mother at this time?" said Vidya
"Enough Vidya. You are not her mother. You could be her mother. A mother, no matter who's, doesn't curse a child. A child is a gift from God, and you curse both your stepson and his wife. My daughter in law is pregnant, and instead of wanting to share the news with the family, she asked me to let her move away from this town, this family and her husband." shocking everyone.
"Bhai sa, we will apologise to Abhira personally, please don't take her away." said Chachi sa
"Yes, Papa. I will asked for forgiveness. I promise I will never hurt her again. She's my little sister. I need her." stated Ruhi
"Rohit, Ruhi. You will need to move out Armaan's room. That is his room." said Vidya, trying to correct her mistakes.
Madhav shook his head, and walk away, while the Goenkas were confused. They felt guilty but couldn't do anything so they left quietly, hoping to talk to Abhira later.
Ruhi sat on the sofa crying, "Rohit, I hurt my sister. My Massi Ma. My Massi Ma left me because of me."
"Ssshh. Your sister and Massi Ma love you." Rohit said as he picked her up, and took her to their room.
Everyone quickly dispersed, each heading towards their rooms.
The next morning, everyone was at the breakfast table waiting for Armaan and Abhira. Finally, Dadi sa sent Krish to call them for breakfast.
Slowly, Armaan and Abhira come into the main house for breakfast.
Armaan and Abhira sat down at the table. Everyone looked towards Abhira, not knowing how to start a conversation with her.
Vidya and Manisha both tried to fill Abhira's plate, when Abhira got up and said, "Sorry, I just remember, I have something to do." and quickly left. She rushed out so quickly, it left everyone in shock.
"Armaan, Abhira. She didn't even eat anything before leaving?" asked Ruhi
"Leave her alone! She has given up on all of us. She wasn't speaking to me properly, but luckily she is giving me another chance. If she wants to move to Somnath, I will move to Somnath. She wants to be away from this family, I will not stop her. Just stay away from her please. If she wants to talk, she will." as Armaan got up and left the house.
