Lost and Found

" You'll pay for that "

I was drinking by my 5th glass of orange juice in a little cafe called ' Faire Flore ' , which happens to be in the school itself. Shocking isn't it?

It was cute and small, but quite busy. Emile told me that lots of students come here after school and just hang out.

We decided to sit outside since the view of the sunset looked simply beautiful.

In the end, Emile had to pay for me since I didn't bring any cash. It was dark out side and some people were heading to the dorm areas, but me and Emile were going to the opposite direction.

" Uh, where are we going? " I asked while looking around, I noticed the further we go the more I could see from the side we were going to. It looked like little shops and more cafés.

" I thought you'd like to have a look around more, this isn't your average school after all "

It hardly looks like a school, more like a town.

" We aren't allowed to go out of the Saint Marie grounds, but they provide us with all the things we need " she paused a little before a smile crept her face " like boutiques! "

Wow. This school keeps on surprising me and it's still my first day.

We passed by few stores, until I realized..

Emile was a fashion freak.

In each store we go into she would criticize every clothing there is and would try most on.

The thing is, I get bored when I stay in a store long enough to memorize the colour of the wallpaper and flooring.

I sneaked out before Emile would drag me in and walked away from the crowd.

Even though I thought most students were going back to their dorms, the rest were hanging out here.

Even if it means that it's midnight.

How are the shops still open right now?

I walked to a park a bit further from the shops and sat down on one of the benches.

I miss my brother.. My parents.
I wonder what they are doing right now, are they missing me too? Are they fine without me?

My rope of thoughts got interrupted by the smell of smoke.

Smoke?

I looked ahead to find Aiden lighting a cigarette and putting it swiftly between his plump lips.

" I thought students weren't allowed to smoke here? " he looked at me then puffed a cloud of smoke.

" So aren't drugs "

" You do drugs? "

" No, but your face says it all "

I gasped then glared at him, I took my phone out to see how I looked...

That dick.

He was insulting my natural beauty.

He took a seat next to me and gazed at the moon.

" You know you shouldn't be here at this time, you never know what type of dangerous people are out here- "

" Oh, so first you insult me and now you care for me? "

" I'm just looking out for a young girl like you like the gentleman I am " he then winked at me.

" You're unbelievable "

" I'm all real baby " he then lifted the him of his shirt to reveal his 6 pack.

" You're frustrating me "

" Sexually? "

" That's it! " I began stomping away from him. I could hear his laugh ringing in my ears.

I later then realized the big mistake I did.

It was now 1:03 am.

I was in the middle of a place million times bigger than my old public high school.

I'm lost.

I got startled by the sounds of bushes rustling and that's all it took me to start shivering and remember Aiden saying something about dangerous people.

I started to panic.

I began running as fast as my legs could carry me. I could hear footsteps until I felt arms around my waist pulling me towards a hard chest.

" Gotcha "

" A-Aiden? "

I got turned around, my eyes widened. I couldn't be happier that it was only Aiden and not some creepy monster/human that haunts girls and eats them for dinner. I read weird books.

" Ya alright? " his eyes full of concern and for a second I mistook him for someone else. He wiped with his thumb a rebellious tear that fell down my cheeks that I was trying hard to hold.

I nodded before I realized that he could have just called my name out instead of scaring me like he just did.

" you're a jerk, you know that "

" yes I know baby "

I averted his gaze on me and sighed as I let him rest his arm on my shoulder making me glued next to him.

" let's take you back to your dorm " he smiled. Actually smiled. His smile brought sneaky butterflies into my stomach making me blush a bit and look down on the ground as we made our way out of the park.

By now the way was empty, not a single living human was walking, just me and Aiden.

When we reached the entrance door for the West side of the dorm which belonged to the girls, I stopped to wave at Aiden to leave before someone notices him, but he just chuckled.

" I'm taking you in, silly "

" What?! No! What if someone sees you, you'll get in trouble "

He just shrugged and opened the door for me.

" Ladies first "

" You really are a gentleman "

" Only around you "

I ignored his attempt to flirt and walked to where my dorm was, he soon followed after me.

As soon as I opened my dorm door, I was face to face with an annoyed Emile.

" WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?! "

" Relax, I was just lost "

She looked apologetically to me before nodding.

She noticed me looking behind me for any signs of Aiden, and asked me if something was wrong, and I told her a simple ' no ' .

Aiden told me he'll leave as soon as he sees me enter my dorm, which made me happy that he cared enough to do that.

I wore my pink pjs and brushed my teeth before I hopped in bed going through all the events that happened to me today.
