Chapter 11: Discomfort and Dancing

(Maddie's POV)

Where was I? Oh yeah. Jeremy and Scott in the room plus me in the room too equals extreme awkwardness!!! I shuffle quickly to the couch and sit down, looking at the cream colored carpeted floor. Jeremy and Scott were panting. There was a looooong pause.

"Awkward. I now pronounce you awkward."
Mary said, trying to not laugh at the reference she just made.

"Nice Girl Meets World reference."
Erica complimented. Well, she's not wrong bout that. I felt Jeremy and Scott sit on either side of me, just like Sven and Dmitri did. Talk about brotherly similarities.

"Sooooo......."
I started awkwardly.

"Sooooo......"
Jeremy trailed off. I twiddle my thumbs.

"Would someone start talking?!"
Phillip threw his arms up in the air.

"DON'T RUSH ME!!!!!"
Jeremy, Scott, and I yelled in perfect unison. We look at each other and start chuckling. I look at both of them and engulf Scott and Jeremy in a hug similar to the one I gave Sven and Dmitri.

"DOG PILE!!!!!"
Mary jumps on us. Erica, Dmitri, Phillip, Sven, Mike, Fritz, and Vincent follow suit. We all begin to laugh. I look out the window and see the city..... that I ruthlessly destroyed. My eyes pop open. For some reason, clouds appeared in the sky and lightning struck Fritz and Vincent's houses. Oops.....

"Aaaaand, there goes Fritz and Vincent's places.... Meep....."
I squeaked. Fritz and Vincent rush to the balcony and see that their houses were rubble.

"S-Sorry....."
I nervously stuttered.

"It's fine. Mary and I were looking for a new place to stay anyway."
Vincent smiled.

"So were me and Erica."
Fritz shrugged.

"Good cause that was an accident. I'm still getting used to my powers. Jeremy, Scott, I-I'm sorry about attacking your little brothers. I was stressed."
I explained.

"I TOLD YOU!!!!!!!!"
Sven shouted. I snickered.

"As I was saying, I forgave you guys already. I know you were just trying to protect them. I don't blame you if you guys don't forgive me......"
I turn around and sit on the edge of the balcony. Jeremy sighs and sits next to me. Scott does the same. I stare at my feet. Noticing how close I am to the edge, I quickly back away.

"Maddie, why would we not forgive you? You're our best friend. And you're Sven, Phillip, and Dmitri's best friends. Heck, you're the animatronics' best friend! We forgave you from the second you ran out the door. Right, Jeremy?"
Scott said. Jeremy nodded. Scott ruffled my hair while Jeremy put his hand on my shoulder.

"To be honest, your houses needed new coats of paint."
I giggled. Jeremy gave me a look that said "You giving me tude, now?" I don't know, it looks like he's gonna say that.

"Noogie!!"
Scott exclaimed and started to noogie me, along with Jeremy. I shrieked and we fell backwards onto our backs. We laughed like before. I remember something.

"Oh, I gotta show you guys something!!"
I got up and showed them a room with pitch black walls and a glowing white floor. When I started to walk on it, teal ripples appeared under my feet with every step I took. Everyone was in awe.

"What do you think?"
I asked.

"Did you make this?!"
Phillip questioned.

"What, you thought I'd sit around doin' nothing up here? I had to come with some entertainment to keep me busy, ya dum-dum!"
I played some music with the speakers built into the ceiling. Destiny's Child's Survivor started to play. I sang along with it while dancing really good. And not to toot my own horn, but...... Toot toot!!
