Erica's POV

When will it end?! I feel like a Chihuahua in a freezer!! I gripped tightly on to my coat. Mike took over the wheel since he knew how to get to the cabin. Since it was so snowy, we had to move slowly. I curled myself into a ball to preserve body heat. Then I felt an arm around me. I look at who the arm was connected to. Dmitri. It was a good thing my eyes were only visible because of my coat's collar, because I could feel my cheeks reddening. I kind of have a reeeaaally secret crush on Dmitri. Despite how annoyingly flirty he is. Up in the front, Mike lets out a frustrated growl.

"This blizzard isn't making this any easier!!"
Mike growled. I peeked at Sven in the back. Then I felt weak and worried. Sven looked like he was planning to murder someone.

"Yeah. Maybe it has to do with Maddie's storm?"
Mary theorized. Ohhhh boy. Sven's face got bright red with fury. Then....... he cracked.

"MADDIE'S TORNADO WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HAD JUST ACCEPTED HER POWERS!!!!!!"
Sven yelled. Mike screamed with fear since Sven had startled him, causing the car to spin. We all started to scream. My life flashed before my eyes. Starting with a particular day...

FLASHBACK TO A WHILE AGO

I sat in the control room with Vincent. Fritz got hungry and went to the kitchen. As he looked at the surveillance screen, I notice something- or someone - standing in the Pirate's Cove with Foxy. It was a boy with brown hair, about my age. I was shocked. I thought only I was allowed inside the pizzeria!! I dart out the doorway for Pirate's Cove. I skid to a stop and yank the curtain open. The boy whipped his head around and saw me. My eyes widened. The boy looked like Jeremy, but with shorter hair and a few years younger!! He wore a blue T-shirt with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, light brown cargo pants that went down to his ankles, and black hiking boots. He nervously smiled at me.

"U-Um...... hi?"
The boy waved sheepishly. I giggled.

"I'm guessing you're related to Jeremy?"
I asked. He nodded slowly, his cheeks pink.

"Fritz is my brother. I'm Erica."
I held out my hand.

"Who are you?"

"S-Sven. My n-name is Sven."
He took my hand and shook it.

"And this is--"

"Foxy. I know."

"You know him? You come here too?"
Sven's mouth was agape. I opened my mouth to say something when I heard a loud CRASH!! coming from the storage room. Sven and I exchanged glances, and ran to the storage room. I pop my head in and see a second boy with auburn hair.

"Hey, who are you?!"
The boy exclaimed. I put my hands on my hips.

"I'm Erica. And you are?"
I questioned.

"Phillip."

"The school's star athlete?"
I gasped.

"Yeah. Who's the scaredy cat behind you?"
Phillip pointed to Sven, who was red with embarrassment.

"Hey!! You don't have the right to treat him like that!!"
I shouted. Phillip just raised an eyebrow, then widened his eyes.

"You two look like Fritz and Jeremy!!"
He realized.

"That's because I'm Fritz's little sister. And Sven here is Jeremy's little brother. Are you related to any of the guys?"
I crossed my arms.

"Wait, how did you know that I'm Jeremy's litt--"

"Hush."

"Okay, Erica."

"Scott. He's my other brother."
Phillip responded.

"'Other'?"
I repeated.

"My twin brother, Dmitri."
Phillip informed. My mouth fell open.

"You have a twin?!"
Phillip nodded. I race to one of the party rooms, and saw a girl. She had a teal hoodie, dirty blonde hair up in a short ponytail (half of it had fallen out of the ponytail) held up with a dark green ribbon, bootcut jeans, a black ski cap, and ruby hued tennis shoes. For some strange reason, her skin looked shiny and white. She turned around and smiled.

"Yo, what's up?! Name's Madison!"
She ranted. Man, she talks fast!

"Erica."
I chuckled. Sven caught up and stood next me. The second he stepped in, Maddie blushed redder than Scott's head.

"So who's your brother?"
I put my hands in my jacket pockets.

"Mike. Lemme guess. Yours is Fritz? And yours is Jeremy?"
She guessed. Sven and I stare at her surprised.

"How did you--?"

"What in the world?!"
A voice said behind me. I turned around (nearly getting whiplash) to see a teenage girl. Titanium blonde with red tips, red-orange V-neck with long sleeves rolled up above her elbows, black jeans, lavender belt, dark gray flats.

"How many other younger siblings are here?!"
I threw my hands up into the air. The girl raised a brow.

"Um, who--"
The girl started.

"Erica, my name's Erica. This is Sven and Maddie. Phillip should be here any se-- Wait no, here he is."
I interrupted. Phillip backflipped into the room.

"Pfft. Showoff."
I grumbled. I look up at Phillip, who's face was a deeper ruby than his hair. I followed his gaze, then bursted out laughing. He was staring at the girl!!But, I stopped. A boy about a year younger with jet black hair strolled in. He wore a sky blue sweater vest, a cerulean long sleeve shirt (how many people are wearing long sleeved shirts, seriously?!), blue jeans and black shoes. My eyes widen. My heartbeat was pounding in my ears.

"Dmitri I assume?"
I shook my head back to reality.

"How did you know?"
Dmitri stared in surprise.

"How my brain processes, no one will ever know."
I giggled.

"Okay, then. I'm Mary. Vincent's lil sister."
The girl said.

"Maddie, Sven, and Mary. I'm Erica."
I shook Dmitri's hand. Then we all realized something.

"FRITZ!!!!!!"
I screeched.

"MIKE!!!!!"

"SCOTT!!!!!!!"

"VINCENT!!!!!!"
Sven remained silent.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

I gripped on to Fritz as we screamed our lungs out. The car skidded to a stop. We were all breathing heavily. All that screaming wore our lungs out. Phillip shot a death stare at Sven.

"SVEN WHY THE CRAP DID YOU DO THAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"
Phillip screamed. I smacked Phillip upside the head.

"You're not much help, either Phillip."
I grumbled. I look straight out the windshield. My eyes widened at the sight. There are footprints in the snow!!

"Guys, look!!"
I pointed to the tracks. Everyone faced the direction I was pointing. Dmitri hopped out and examined the footprints.

"Judging by the tracks' depth........ and the width of the shoe....... plus the shape of the impression...... Yes! These are Maddie's! The depth from her footprints shows her weight pressing down on the snow and the width of them is big enough to be her shoe size. Plus the impressions' pattern match the style of Maddie's shoes!"
Dmitri ranted. Mary, Mike, Jeremy, Sven, and Vincent's mouths were all agape.

"Now there's a Forensic Investigator!"
I smiled.

"Follow those tracks!!"
Mike shouted. He slammed his foot on the gas. The tires were moving...... but we weren't.

"Follow those tracks!!"
Mike repeated himself. He put his foot on the gas and we still didn't budge.

"Crap! We're stuck......... Well then..... Follow those tracks!!"
Mike got out of the van. And started following the footprints.

"On foot."
He started to go uphill. I shrugged and followed him. Hi-ho hi-ho, its up the mountain we go.
