Elara

(Just to say, since Elara wasn't born a Goddess she can eat human food but the purebred gods can't )

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm golden hue across the vast expanse of Olympus. I stood on the balcony of our ethereal home, a beautiful villa adorned with shimmering vines and vibrant flowers that seemed to bloom only for us. The air was thick with the scent of blooming jasmine, and I inhaled deeply, savoring the sweetness of this divine existence.

It had been months since I had become a goddess, and every moment felt like a dream come true. I had adapted to my new life seamlessly, but the most beautiful aspect of it all was sharing this new reality with Ares. We had explored the realms of Olympus together, laughed with the other gods, and enjoyed the wonders of our immortality.

"Ares!" I called out playfully, peeking back into our home. "Are you coming or what?"

His deep, rich laughter echoed from the kitchen, and I felt a flutter of joy in my chest. It still amazed me how much his laughter could brighten my day. "Just a moment, my love! I'm perfecting my latest culinary masterpiece," he called back.

I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging at my lips. Ares cooking had become a frequent and amusing occurrence since my arrival in Olympus. Who would have thought the god of war could also be a master in the kitchen? He was always trying to impress me with his creations, and I had to admit, he was getting quite good at it.

I stepped back into the kitchen to find him wearing an apron-one that read "Kiss the Chef" in bold letters. I burst into laughter at the sight. "What are you doing?" I managed to say between giggles.

He turned to face me, a mock-serious expression on his face. "Cooking for my queen, of course. It's the least I can do after you sacrificed everything for me."

"Yeah, and you somehow ended up loving me more because of it," I teased, leaning against the doorframe, admiring the way the sunlight danced across his chiseled features.

"Of course," he replied, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I have to keep you happy or else I might have to go to war." He raised an eyebrow, and I knew he was joking, but there was always an edge of seriousness in his voice when he mentioned the lengths he would go to for me.

I walked over and wrapped my arms around his waist, resting my chin on his shoulder. "I'm happy just being here with you," I whispered.

He turned slightly, his eyes softening as they met mine. "And I'll make sure you stay happy, goddess or not."

The warmth of his body pressed against mine sent shivers down my spine. I loved these little moments-the quiet intimacy that came from simply being together. I glanced over at the counter, where an array of colorful fruits lay. "What are you making?"

"A fruit salad," he said, motioning toward the colorful assortment. "But with a special twist."

"Special twist?" I questioned, intrigued.

He picked up a small, glimmering vial filled with golden liquid. "Nectar of the gods. It adds a little something extra."

"Should I be worried?" I asked playfully, raising an eyebrow.

"Not at all," he said, pouring the nectar over the fruits. "You'll love it, I promise."

I watched as he mixed the vibrant fruits with the golden nectar, creating a masterpiece that looked as beautiful as it smelled. He placed it in front of me, and I couldn't help but marvel at his effort.

"Okay, let's see what you've got," I said, taking a bite. The flavors exploded in my mouth, a perfect harmony of sweetness and a hint of the divine. "Wow, Ares! This is amazing!"

His eyes sparkled with pride as he leaned against the counter, watching me devour the salad. "I knew you'd like it."

After finishing the fruit, we wandered out to the balcony, the sun beginning to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. The beauty of it all never ceased to amaze me.

"Do you remember our first sunset together?" I asked, leaning against the railing.

"How could I forget?" he replied, a grin spreading across his face. "You were so overwhelmed by the beauty of Olympus, and I was just trying to impress you with my knowledge of constellations."

"I think you might have succeeded," I admitted, my heart swelling at the memory. "Though, I was a little distracted by how handsome you looked."

Ares laughed, his deep voice vibrating through me. "I think you might have just been enamored by my charm."

"Or maybe it was your swagger," I teased, nudging him playfully.

We stood in comfortable silence, watching as the stars began to twinkle overhead. "You know," I said softly, "sometimes I think about how lucky I am to have you in my life. I never imagined I would find love like this-especially not with a god."

He turned to face me, his expression serious. "Elara, it's not just luck. You're destined to be here. You showed me what love truly is, and I'll always fight for that."

"I love you," I whispered, feeling the sincerity of my words resonate deep within me.

"I love you too, more than you could ever know," he replied, stepping closer until our bodies were just inches apart.

He leaned in, capturing my lips with his in a gentle yet passionate kiss. Time seemed to stop as we melted into each other, the world around us fading away.

When we finally broke apart, breathless and smiling, Ares took my hand in his. "Let's go for a walk in the garden," he suggested.

"Lead the way," I said, feeling giddy and light as we strolled through the vibrant blossoms, hand in hand.

Everywhere we went, flowers seemed to bloom in our wake, a testament to our love and the beauty it had created in this new world. Ares pointed out various plants, explaining their magical properties, while I listened intently, my heart filled with admiration.

"Is it possible for flowers to grow brighter in your presence?" I asked playfully, plucking a vibrant blue flower and tucking it behind his ear.

He chuckled, the sound rich and warm. "If they do, it's because they're celebrating our love."

As we wandered through the garden, we laughed, played, and whispered sweet nothings, all the while knowing that this was our eternity-a beautiful, never-ending journey together.

In that moment, surrounded by the magic of Olympus, I realized that true happiness was not just about the grandeur of being a goddess. It was about the quiet moments shared with Ares, the love that radiated between us, and the promise of forever.

And as the stars twinkled above us, I knew that no matter what challenges awaited us, we would face them together, side by side, for all of eternity.
