[Wait, did I write Yongbok has white hair in chap 1? I'm sorry, my mistake. I meant to write that he had dark hair]

The morning sun filtered through the thin curtains of Hyunjin's room, casting warm beams of light across the floor. It was a new day, but the weight of yesterday still lingered in the air, a reminder of the decisions that had been made. Hyunjin sat on the edge of his bed, the remnants of sleep still clinging to him as he prepared for what lay ahead.

His heart raced with a mixture of anxiety and reluctance as he dressed in the simple warrior's attire—a sturdy tunic paired with fitted trousers. He could already feel the tension in his shoulders at the thought of the training grounds and the possibility of facing Prince Lee Yongbok again.

As Hyunjin and In-Yeop made their way to the dining area, the scent of breakfast wafted through the air, mingling with the sounds of his family bustling about. The atmosphere was a blend of excitement and apprehension, and Hyunjin found himself wishing he could just disappear.

"Hyunjin! In-Yeop!" his mother, Hwang Ji-soo, called out, her voice warm and welcoming as they entered. She turned to them, her expression shifting from cheerful to serious. "Come here, both of you."

With a quick exchange of glances, they approached their mother. She enveloped Hyunjin in a tight hug, her arms wrapping around him with a motherly warmth that made him feel a bit lighter. "Take care of yourself, my son," she said, her voice soft yet firm. "And please, try not to get into any more trouble."

Hyunjin nodded, his heart softening at her words. "I will, Mother. I promise."

After a moment, she released him and turned to In-Yeop, giving him the same treatment. "And you, my eldest, watch over your younger brother. He can be reckless."

In-Yeop smiled softly, a hint of teasing in his voice. "I'll keep him in line, don't worry."

Just then, their younger brother, Hwang Nisimura, known as Riki, piped up, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Hyung, if the prince bothers you again, you should challenge him! Show him who's boss!" His youthful exuberance filled the room, lightening the heavy atmosphere a little.

Hyunjin shot Riki a warning glance. "That's not how it works, Riki. I'm not going to challenge a prince," he replied, trying to sound authoritative but failing to suppress a smirk at his brother's enthusiasm.

"Yeah, oppa, just be careful," his sister, Hwang Yeji, chimed in, shaking her head at Riki's suggestion. "You don't want to get in trouble again."

Their father, Hwang Jong-su, entered the dining area, his expression stern as he surveyed the scene. "This is the last time I'm warning you, Hyunjin," he said, fixing his son with a pointed look. "Remember your duty. This is important for our family. Do not let your emotions cloud your judgment."

Hyunjin swallowed hard, the weight of his father's words sinking in. "Yes, Father. I'll do my best," he replied, though he felt a swell of frustration rising within him.

With the farewells exchanged, Hyunjin and In-Yeop gathered their things, the reality of their situation settling around them like a heavy cloak. As they stepped outside, the bright sunlight greeted them, a stark contrast to the swirling thoughts in Hyunjin's mind.

The training grounds were located on the outskirts of their village, a sprawling field surrounded by tall trees and a nearby stream that added to the peaceful scenery. But today, it felt more daunting than inviting. As they made their way, Hyunjin couldn't shake off the nagging feeling of dread building in his chest.

"Ready to face the day?" In-Yeop asked, shooting Hyunjin a sideways glance.

Hyunjin huffed, feigning confidence. "As ready as I'll ever be."

As they approached the training grounds, the sounds of swords clashing and warriors shouting filled the air, reminding Hyunjin of the challenges that awaited him. He steeled himself, mentally preparing for the day ahead, but the thought of encountering Prince Yongbok loomed large in his mind.

"Just remember, stay focused. Don't let anyone get to you," In-Yeop advised, a reassuring hand resting on Hyunjin's shoulder.

With a deep breath, Hyunjin nodded. "Yeah, I'll try," he said, though a part of him was still reluctant about the whole situation.

They stepped through the entrance, and the world of training opened up before them, filled with eager faces and the energy of determination. But as Hyunjin scanned the crowd, he couldn't help but wonder how soon he would have to confront the very prince who had ignited this entire situation.
