Sound of Machines beeping

Pallavi : ( laying on the hospital bed ) It's been a long time since we have talked so freely and openly

Dev: (holding her hand) yeah
Pallavi: ( Hesitates) I want to tell you something. You should move on after I pass away

Dev: How can you even think of it, huh ? I have deep feelings for you. Please don't let negative thoughts flow in your mind

Pallavi: Facing the brutal reality is a really tough work, Dev
Dev: I know that. I had already lost you once but I was lucky to meet you once again. And I don't want to lose you again

Pallavi: *sighs* I already lost hope dev that I would ever get a chance to remain alive now.

Dev: ( closes her mouth with his hand ) shh ! you will be fit and fine and we will together live our life happily

Dev: *looks at the clock on the Wall* you should rest now. It's 10 PM already.

Pallavi: yes , please go home. Your body needs rest. I am fine here. You can come early tomorrow to meet me, I have more things to share with you.

Dev : Yes , take the medicines and sleep well . I will arrive by 8 am with Maa and chotti . I love you , take care

Pallavi: Hmm , love you too
*Dev leaves the room*
Pallavi: *Closes her eyes and sleeps peacefully*

Dev arrives at a cake shop, he buys cake for pallavi for her birthday
Dev : Tommorow is pallavi's birthday I will surprise her with this cake.
*Takes the cake to his home*

*At night 2 am*
*Nurse enters the room to check the vitals of pallavi*

Nurse POV
*Runs to the doctor*
Nurse : Doctor! The patient in room no. 100 , her pulse rate has become down and her ECG is showing a
*Flatline*
*Doctor quickly runs off to the room*
*Nurse calls her family members*

DOCTOR POV
Doc: Bring the defibrillator quick
*Doctor gives the electric shock to her*
*Dev arrives at the hospital* ( he is very happy because it's pallavi's birthday)
But soon his happiness turned into sadness
*He sees from outside the room door*
The doctor gave her the electric shock the first time pallavi responded , the sec. time too but the third time she didn't ! The ECG monitor shows a flat line*

Doc: Oh no ! She is not responding to this now. * They try to save her in many ways but pallavi didn't respond*
* Drop of tear rolled from her left eye*
(On the other hand)
Dev is confused on what was happening

Doctor: *steps out of the room*
Dev: Doctor what is going on? Is pallavi okay ??
Doc: we are so sorry to tell you Mr. Dev that pallavi she has passed away.

Dev: (Drops the cake he bought)No doctor it can't be!
Doc: Suddenly at 2 Am her heart was not at normal state and her pulse rate was down. We tried but we couldn't save her.
Dev : (Tear Drops from his left eye, crying)
Doc: Take care of yourself
