One day raj came to dev's house with a gift box

Raj : (Calls hims from outside) Dev
Dev's mom : O raj , come inside beta
He goes inside the house
Dev's mom: Sit here
Dev's mom : I will bring you some tea or juice
Raj: no aunty no need of that
Dev's mom : okay, but how's your mom and dad ?

Raj : They are fine aunty but after sister's death. They have lost interest in everything. Because we lost our family's important part but the bitter truth is we have to accept it.

Dev's mom: Raj , so sorry to hear that I know it is very hard to accept and losing a loved one is very difficult to bear the pain. But there must be a reason why God has done this to us. Now , you are their only child you have to take care of them.

Raj : Hmm Aunty I will, Actually I came to meet dev it's been a long time since I have seen him. Where is he ?

Dev's mom : I think he is in his room after pallavi's death he also seems to be very upset seeing him like this makes me sad. You go upstairs and he will be there.

Raj : Don't worry aunty he will be fine just we have to give him some time and space I will go meet him

Raj goes to Dev's room
*Meanwhile dev is standing near the window looking outside and kinda lost in his thoughts *
Raj: ( calls him ) Dev
*Dev didn't respond*

Raj: ( Goes near him) Dev
Dev remains silent
Raj: ( touches his shoulder and slightly shakes him) Dev !

Dev: *comes back to his senses* oh raj ! How are you ? How long has it been since you came here ?

Raj : It's been 5 - 10 mins but what were you thinking  ?
Dev : ( smiles Awkwardly) Nothing, just random thoughts 

Raj:  I have something to give you
Dev : yeah
Raj: ( Handed a gift to dev )here is your present actually I was looking for something in my sister's room then I found this in her room

Dev: Okay but is this for me ( slightly shocked) ? Okay I will check it out, here how's uncle and aunty?
Raj : Yeah they are fine but you know....
Dev : I can understand it's not an easy task to forget a loved one....

Raj: ( A sad look )yeah I miss her. Now I came to know her value. 
Dev : (pats on his shoulder) take care of yourself, aunty and uncle...

Raj : Dev I have one thing to tell. You take care of yourself too,  look at aunty's condition she seems very upset upon looking at you like this. By Crying my sister will not come back.  Ok I hope you have understood
Dev : (remains silent)
Raj: okay then I will go. Bye!

After Raj goes, Dev out of curiosity he checks out the present.
At the top of the present it has a small note written:
       
        For the love of my life 'Dev'

He opens the box where he sees a gift a photo frame of her and dev and a letter

He opens the letter and he reads:

Dear dev, 
Surprise! I wanted to take a moment to write you this letter. As I sit here the sun shines brightly through my  window. I can't help but think of you.
Happy birthday my love ❤️, In the days leading up to Today. I have been thinking about all the wonderful moments of us. You bring so much joy and light in my life. I feel so lucky to have you dev , but I know I can't be with you and stay by your side forever
Yes, Dev I know the truth I am going to die and I have very few months to live. Hey don't cry!

Dev was crying upon reading the letter
The letter continues :

I can't see you cry , Dev when I first came to know about this I was first  thinking of you because I know i meant the world to you. I want to spend more  life with you dev but God.....
Anyways dev you deserve all the happiness in this world. And as you know our birthday is celebrated together I have a wish as my birthday present. You always told me about your startup plan but because of your responsibilities as a son you suppressed your dream but I want you to look at the top position and be happy and successful :) you will always hold a special place in my heart dev. Thank you for your love and care. Take care of maa and chotti and yourself too.
