Chapter 12

*Katie's PoV-

I am getting out of the hospital today!!! I'm not going to go back to the boy's house. I'm gonna probably go to my Lou's and stay there for the rest of my stay here. Once I get to go back home, I'm getting the first flight there. Danielle left yesterday, along with all my other friends. I really don't want to stay here anymore, but my parents told me the house is under construction. I can't wait for all the time to pass so I can go home!! I just talked to my mom last night. I haven't been very happy since yesterday. I was told that I was adopted, and now I don't even want to go there. Lou said I can stay with her forever pretty much, at least until I'm ready to leave.

My door opened and I looked who it was. I saw someone who was probably a little over 50. He had grayish black hair. And behind him walked in two girls. One his age and one my age. Harry walked in behind him and I sighed. "Katie, I have big news!!" I looked at him staying silent. "This is your dad Simon, your mom Abby, and your sister Chase or as everyone else calls her CC" i look at him wide eyed. Simon and Abby start crying. "Katie darling I'm so sorry I ever have you up...." Abby said. "Y-yo-you mean you are my r-real parents??" They nod slowly. I feel tears start to go down my face. They walk over to me and hug me. Chase just stands there looking at me with joy in her eyes. Then she gets disappointed look. She runs out the door and Harry goes after her. Simon sighs and sits down while Abby just grabbed his hand. Chase came in a moment later and handed me skittles. I smile at her and we shared them.
