I woke up before my alarm even went off. I got up and got dressed for the day, after gathering up my supplies for my exam. I make my way down stairs, had a light breakfast before making my way out and to the university.

While on my way to the exams, Pedro sent a few messages wishing me good luck with my exams with some cute pictures. Thanking him before heading into the exam hall, picking up my information sheet and heading to my table.

Once everyone was seated at their tables, the examiner started handing out the exam sheets, noting the time, she told us when to turn our papers over and begin our exam.

As soon as I finished, I turned my papers over, gathered my things up as quietly as possible, getting up from the table and walking to the front, I handed in my paperwork to the examiner

As soon as I finished, I turned my papers over, gathered my things up as quietly as possible, getting up from the table and walking to the front, I handed in my paperwork to the examiner. Leaving the exam hall, I made my way out for some lunch before my next exam.

I gave Pedro a call to let him know how it went, he answered at the first ring. "Jess, hi, you finished already?" he asked. "Hiya, no, just heading off for lunch, wrote my first exam, so two more to go and that would be my last and final exams till I graduate." I replied. "How did it go?" he asked. "Stressful, but I managed to finished it all, I'm just glad that one is finished, it was the hardest one" I replied. "I'm sure you did great, I'm going to head off now as we are meeting our manager for the final farewell dates, I will catch up with you later" he said. "Good luck with your dates, chat later then" I replied. "And I'm praying your last two exams go well, you've got this" he added. "Thanks, bye" I said as he said goodbye and ended the call.

Eating my lunch, my alarm went off to let me know I needed to head to my next exam. I could not believe I was in my final year and these would be my very last exams and then onto graduation. Finishing my wrap, I threw the wrappers in the bin and walked back to the university and walking to the exam hall again. Entering I sat down at my pre-assigned seats as this time we would be working on a manikin as well as a baby manikin.

This was a practical exam, we had examiners walking around us and marking us on each of required techniques we had to perform, stitching, injecting etc, etc. We would be asked questions to see if we understood what was required of us and how we expect to deal with it. That practical lasted at least 3 hours before the timer went off. We gathered our medical equipment along with packing up the manikins and putting them away.

We had a toilet break before having to head back into the hall to do our final exam.

This took another 2 hours, some of us agreed to meet up at a pub nearby to celebrate our final exams. So as soon as we started finishing, we headed there and waited for the rest. We were quite relieved that it was finished. Now we would have to wait for our results and then it was graduation.

While sitting at the pub waiting on the others, I sent Pedro a message to see if he was free to chat. He replied back instantly saying they were busy in a meeting. I told him that I was finished with all my exams and I was out at the moment and would call him when I got back home.

In return he sent 😘
