Y/n's pov

It's 9am in the morning and the sun shines down on the floor in my bedroom. I walk to the bathroom and start to undress myself. I hop in the shower and turn the led light on. While i'm enjoying the hot water thousand of thoughts are racing around my head.

Yesterday I went on an audition for a big role. I moved to La to become an actress so this was my first big opportunity.

"Hello my name is Y/n Y/l/n and i'm here for the audition." The person behind the desk looks up at me in points to a door at the end of the room. "Wait outside until they call for you" she sweetly says. "Thank you" she smiles at me and wishes me good luck.

That was everything I can remember from the audition. I was extremely stressed and nervous. After I auditioned I walked back out of the room and started crying. The woman saw me and she said that it's was gonna be okay. She saw that I had real potential and she said that I was the first candidate that actually looked nice.

I gave her a hug and walked home.

Now 24hrs later i'm waiting for a call. They said you get a call also if you didn't make it. I hopped out of the shower. I walked into my room and over to my closet. Today was a lazy day, I didn't have anything to do except wait for a call. I picked a pair of grey sweatpants and a black hoodie.

*Ring ring ring*

"OMG" I screamed, okay Y/n stay calm everything is going to be fine. I looked at the caller and didn't recognise it so i guessed it must be from the audition.

"Hello Y/n speaking" I said with a soft voice. My heart was beating the shit out of me and sweat started forming on my face. "Hey Y/n my name is Jack and I just wanted to tell you that you've got the role!" I dropped my phone, tears started forming in my eyes. "Y/n? Are you still there?" I snapped out of my trance and picked the phone up. "Yes sir i'm here, I'm just surprised..." he laughed when i said that. "Y/n you were the best candidate that we saw, you deserve it!"

"Thank you sir!" I said still with disbelief in my voice. "I will send you all the details of the movie and the script, you are gonna play Hailee Steinfelds love interest so i already talked to her about your audition and she also thought you were the best one!" My mouth fell open. Shoot. I forgot I auditioned for Hailee Steinfelds love interest. "Oh so she saw my audition? I asked. "Yes I showed her every girl and with you she just lighted up so i knew you were the one." I smiled to myself thinking about Hailee.

"Thank you I guess" I said while I laughed. "You don't have to thank me, I should thank you for auditioning." He said back. "I send you the e-mail with the information and I call you back tomorrow!"

"Okay, thanks Jack!" With that I ended the phone call and went straight to my mail. Filming starts in 2 weeks? 2 WEEKS? Oh shoot that's really fast. Tomorrow we are gonna meet up with the whole cast for a "get to know each other" and also for the script reading. Oh boy i'm excited! I jumped around in the living room and flopped on the couch.

I opened Instagram and saw I had one notification.
