as more days passed by the number of letters also increased.

Rivers POV

on sunday morning as uncle Vernon sat on the sofa snarling at harry and me how there could be no letters today .

a whizzing sound came from the chimney and letters started flooding in and this time hundreds of them.

harry and i picked up a letter and started running upstairs.

but we were caught just in time as dudley held me and uncle vernon caught harry.

"get off"me and harry yelled at the same time.

"thats it! we are going away! far away! where they cannot find us!!"he snapped.

the next thing we knew we were sleeping in an miserable little shack on top of the stone in the middle of the ocean.

Harrys POV

as expected from the dursleys they made river and me sleep on the floor.

river was quite cold as we were given no blanket and there was a storm outside.

i tried to wrap my arms around her as we were both eagerly looking at Dudley's watch waiting for the clock to hit 12. it was our birthday and we were in such a miserably situation.

when it was finally time we both blew out the candles of the cake we drew in the sand.

BOOM!!

the twins got up startled.

someone was knocking but soon the door was ripped out by a giant looking man.

uncle vernon came down with a rifle, pointing at the man.

"mind , i have not seen you since you were a baby harry" the giant said looking at dudley .

" I-I-I'm not harry" he stammered.

" I-I am harry" harry said stepping closer to the giant.

" well , of cource you are .i have got something for ya and yer sister.

handing us both a box which had a cake inside.

Rivers face lit up as she saw the cake as it was the first time we had got something for our birthday.

"thank you" we said to the giant.

the giant sat down on the sofa, took out a umbrella and pointed at the empty fire place. the sparks flew out and fire started.

"Excuse me, but who are you?" river said surprised.

and then Hagrid told us every thing about who we were and how our parents had not died in a car crash . he was outranged at the Dursleys fir not telling us anything .

after finishing Hagrid saw Dudley eating our cake.

"Ahh.." a pig tail grew behind Dudley .

the Dursleys ran away frightened and were soon out of sight.

rivers POV

harry laughed. while i just smirked in satisfaction.

" oh , and i will appreciate if you don't tell anyone at Hogwarts about this , as i am not allowed to do magic" Hagrid said .

"we are a bit behind the schedule . best be off . unless you want to stay. hmm" he said.

me and harry happily followed him out as we would rather be anywhere but here.

the next morning Hagrid took the us to buy our school stuff. we met a few people in the bar before going to Diagon alley . people kept thanking us for stopping the dark lord.

but we both had no idea what they were talking about.

we met a man with a turban on his head he avoided shaking our hand.

Hagrid said that he was professor Quirrell who taught at Hogwarts.

Hagrid first took us to the wizarding bank to take some money out. he took a very suspicious package from vault number 713.

next, we brought our robes and Hagrid left us outside a shop.

"yer two go to buy yer wand. i have something to take care of" he said and walked away.

we went inside the old shop and got our wands. the man said that both of us had the wand which was made from the feather of the same phoenix and the third wand belonged to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named .

by then hagrid had already came back. he was holding a white and a black owl.

"Happy Birthday, Harry, River!!" he said handing Harry the white one and me the black one.

harry named his owl Hedwig while i named mine Starry.

then we went to a place to get lunch while eating hagrid told us all about how our parents died and how You-Know-Who lost his power .

then he dropped us back at Dursleys.
