The vacation

Part 10

Its been a few weeks since Lucy and Tim moved in together, they were in a beautiful place in their relationship.
Tim's POV
I woke up next to my beautiful girl, I slowly take my arms from underneath her head careful to not wake her.
As I trail through the hallway heading into the kitchen to pour myself a cup of coffee I hear dog taps coming from behind me.
I quickly open the sliding door to let Kojo out into the backyard and go to his dog bowl to pour him some food and let him back inside,
I look over to see him lying on the couch. As I walk back towards the kitchen, I grab some pancake mix and start to make breakfast for me and Lucy.
Lucy's POV
I wake up, alone. Tim isn't here, neither is Kojo. I lift myself from the bed and walk out into the hallway where I smell the sweet aroma of pancakes lofting through the air. As I make it into the kitchen I see Kojo sitting on the couch, and Tim flipping pancakes. I walk towards Kojo to pet him.
T: hey, morning sweetheart
L: morning babe
T: so I was thinking we could go on a hike today? Since you aren't far along in the pregnancy it wont be to hard on the baby, and for you to walk.
L: yeah that's fine are we taking Kojo?
T: sure if you want to
L: yeah I think it'll be good for him to play a little outside
When are we going?
T: after breakfast
L: okay
I go to walk up to him and give him a short kiss before settling myself at the bar
He finishes up the pancakes and we start eating as we finish up
L: thank you that was really good honey
T: I know, its my special recipe
I chuckle
L: I'm gonna start getting ready
T: okay, wear something pretty, were going on a date after
L: okay
I leave the room

Tim's POV
As we walks out of the room into our bedroom I immediately take my phone out of my pants pocket. I quickly scroll to mine and Angela's texts and say
T: hey Ange?
A: yeah?
T: can you go to the top of the mountains in about 30 minutes me and Lucy are going on a hike and I was going to propose and I wanted you to film it
A: OMG YOUR PROPOSING??!!?!
T: yes chill but can you?
A: yes of course let me get ready
T: okay wish me luck
A: you wont need it, she'll say yes that girl loves you with every part of her body
T: thanks Ange
We end the text
As Lucy is still getting ready I look down from my phone and reach back into my pocket and tale out the beautiful diamond ring and look at it
The ring looks like this:

I look at it for a few minutes before I hear Lucy's light footsteps coming down the hall and I quickly put it away
I see her, she looks like a goddess, her beautiful wavy hair cascading down her back and her tiny bump showing through her dress just made my heart burst out of my body

Lucy's POV
I walk out of the bedroom and slowly walk down the hallway, my heels clicking the whole way to the living room
I walk out to see Tims jaw dropped
T: Lucy you look... Incredible give me a twirl
I spin for him, my dress flowing
He walks up to me and wraps his arms around my bump
T: that bump is really showing in that dress
L: really I thought my bump was barely recognizable
T: no you can really see it
He kisses me
T: are you ready Kojo?
He wags his tail and jumps off the couch
He helps me into his truck and we drive up to the mountain trails
He gets me out and we start walking
Tim's POV
We are walking up the trail that leads to the top of the mountain
L: hey can I use the restroom right quick this baby is jumping on my adder like a trampoline
T: yeah go ahead
I watch her run to the bathroom and I grab my phone out of my pocket and text Angela
T: are you set up?
A: yep all good! You got this Tim just remember what I said earlier.
T: okay I'm just waiting for her in the bathroom and we will head up to the top
A: okay bye Tim
T: bye
I see Lucy coming back out of the bathrooms her dress flowing in the wind
L: ok ready?
T: yep
We walk up to the top of the peaks staring at the view. I stand beside her with my arm wrapped around her as we watch if together.
I slowly fall behind her and grab the ring out of my pocket. Lucy is still watching the view in front of us. I turn around to look at Angela to make sure she's set
I get down on one knee and Lucy turns around to ask me something when she sees me
Lucy's POV
I am watching the view from before me before I slowly turn around to ask Tim a question but before I could I saw him down on one knee before me
A few tears shed from my eyes as I hear him making a speech
T: Lucy, I have loved you longer than I probably should have
He chuckles
T: but every morning I wake up next to the most amazing, talented, BEAUTIFUL, loving person in the universe, you are going to make an amazing mother to this baby and hopefully future babies. I want to grow old and spend the rest of my day with you, cherishing moments like these forever, Will you make me the absolute happiest man in the universe and marry me?
I'm bursting into tears at this point,
L: YES, YES of course I'll marry you! He runs up to me and puts the ring on my finger before picking me up and spinning me around, careful not to hurt the baby
L: I love you
T: oh believe me I am so in love with you right now
He says while smiling ear to ear and pulling me in for a kiss
I pull away and see Angela running from behind a bush
L: Angela?
A: that was so beautiful Tim congrats guys!
T: I had her film it, I wanted to be able to look back on this a million times
L: aw that's so sweet
A: so let me see it!
I show her the ring
A: omg its beautiful. Tim, you have good taste
T: I know, especially in fianćes
L: aw
This baby has the best dad they could ever ask for
We head home soon after and I show everyone the ring and get what seems like a billion "congratulations" soon after I fall asleep in Tims arms, my Fianće.
