Tails ran into sonics bulk abs on the way through the forest he was running away from some bullies and Then Tails looked up saying "I'm sorry please don't beat me up, I've got money if you hide me" he said, his voice shakey. Sonic decided to gently help tails up to his feet when the bullies shortly arrived looking for the fox sonic said, "He's not here" hiding tails behind a bush. With tails hidden in a bush both were tempted to look at first til they layed eyes on sonics arms his muscles flexed, revealing bulk and they noticed they couldn't beat him in a fight turning away. As the two coyotes walk away out of sight, Sonic says, "Come out and I don't want your money, I'm just grateful I could be there to help" and as sonic starts to continue down the path towards the city. Tails sprints up behind him and taps on his shoulder, and said "Where are you going, Can I tag along? Sonic thanks for a moment then says "No, Don't you have any parents?" Tails shook his head sadly.
Sonic asks, "Ohh, What's your name?" and the little fox says "I am Miles Prower but I prefer to be called tails, I Despise my parents for abandoning me even though I don't know what happened" sonic sighs. He says "Don't hate your name little guy, Maybe something happened to them but forget about it I'll be here for you now" sonic put his hand out to tails again. The light blue hedgehog says, "Hi Tails, Nice to meet you I'm Sonic The Hedgehog, I felt I had to give you a proper introduction," and then tails replied "It's Perfect" quickly hugging sonic who reacts with a smile at first then pushes tails gently away. He says "Non of that sappy stuff just yet, Okay we just met" tails says "Okay Dad" sonic says "Non of that either just call me, Sonic" tails says "I have a feeling we're going to be the best of friends" he smiled. Sonic says "Sure keep dreaming", Sonic teased trying to keep up the tough act and tails says "Your such a faker" he giggled and sonic smirks saying "Okay you got me I'm not that cold but it's been a long day so let's keep it cool" tails repeated "Keep it cool, Got it" he walked with a new found confidence beside sonic on the way to a manly gym.
