NOTE: Apologies for the delay! I had to push back the chapter due to getting caught up in some things over the weekend, and I wasn't quite in the right mindset to write.
I haven't beta-read the first part, so there's a chance it'll be the tiniest bit cringe or have a few grammatical errors, or both, idk
Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!

Saturday 3:24 P.M.
Minho meets up with Hyunjin, Chan, Seungmin, and Changbin for a weekend road trip in Changbin's parents' family-sized caravan. What started as a nightmare scenario suggested by Seungmin during a game of truth or dare has turned into a reality, much to Seungmin's dismay. The group's plan is to spend a weekend at a national park near the beach. Since it's midterm, the park is likely to be quiet, allowing them to enjoy the space without the crowds.
In addition to that, Minho's wrist has fully recovered and looks as good as new, the bruising and swelling long gone. He's fortunate, as otherwise, it might have kept him from joining this weekend's trip.
As Minho and Hyunjin reach the meeting point, they see Changbin, Chan, and Seungmin gathered together, though one person is conspicuously absent. Minho exits the Uber and quickly notices Jisung standing by the caravan, clad in a black T-shirt that fits a bit too snugly for Minho's sanity and a pair of dark, oversized cargo pants and his own formerly bandaged ear healed, too.
The white-haired boy grimaces, his eyes sweeping over Jisung with a mix of surprise and annoyance. "What's he doing here?" he mutters under his breath, casting a disapproving look at his roommate.
Jisung catches Minho's gaze and grins, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Is that really how you should greet your boyfriend?" he teases, his tone light.
Changbin, looking sheepish, glances away as he explains, "Right, I forgot to tell you, Minho. Chan got held back because his boss needed a new set of tracks delivered by Monday— And since he couldn't come, I figured I'd invite Jisung."
Minho's eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "Why him of all people?"
"Yah," Jisung interjects.
Changbin laughs, trying to diffuse the tension. "I figured you wouldn't mind since you two are a couple now and all."
He groans in resignation. "Fine, whatever."
With some light chatter, the group begins loading their luggage into the caravan and settles into their seats. Changbin takes the driver's seat, with Seungmin beside him, filling in as the passenger princess temporarily. Hyunjin and Minho take the row behind them, while Jisung occupies the back. The seating arrangement is temporary; they plan to rearrange the interior once they've settled by the beach.
As the engine starts and they begin their journey, Changbin breaks the silence with a serious tone. "You guys aren't sacrificing any schoolwork for this trip, right? Remember, this was planned mostly to mess with Seungmin, but we should still keep up with our responsibilities."
Quick to respond, Minho remarks with mock seriousness, "Of course not. Who'd be dumb enough to—"
"Just the comprehensive brand identity project," Hyunjin intrudes with a proud grin.
Turning to his former roommate, Minho's expression mixes disbelief with irritation. "You're actually stupid."
The sound of Seungmin's genuine laughter breaks the moment. "Oh, that's music to my ears."
