Prologue,
The rain crashed against the pavement, reminding her to shield her barely clothed body. At that moment, she didn't care that she was only wearing a mini skirt, that strippers wouldn't dare touch, and a bikini top as if it was blazing hot. She only cared to cover his body. He barely fit in her palms but covered so much space in her heart. "My sweet", She cooed. A soft gurgle let his mouth as she rushed into the alleyway looking for shelter. She heard shots ring out reminding her to run. This wasn't a safe city. "I've been looking for you, Celine." A deep baritone voice called out of the shadows. "You're supposed to be working." "Tasha and Kenzie are working the block for me, let me get my kid somewhere safe," Her Bronx accent drawled. "You've been slacking ever since you've had that little sh*t, the girls are getting tired of covering for you, You don't bring any money, and most of all I'm bored of you. Before she could protest, she heard ringing in her ears and felt a pain she couldn't even describe if she wanted to. "You...", She struggled to talk, still holding her son close. "I shot you, you're going to die along with this little sh*t." "No," She said throwing herself over her son.

Tyra Imani White
He was my first kiss. I remember how my heart almost beat out my chest when he leaned in. I opened my mouth, making an "o" shape. "Put-put your lips like this," He stuttered pressing his lips together. He was known and mostly teased for his horrible stutter. I closed my eyes and pressed my lips together. My heart thumped as I felt his warm lips on mine. He tasted like jolly ranchers. When he pulled away, we both couldn't hide the silly grin on our faces. "Uh thank-k you," He stuttered playing with his tattered jacket. "What are you two doing over there behind the slide," I heard Ms. Malone yell. "Get yo fast," She started cursing.
He was my first boyfriend, I guess you can say. "Do you want to be my girlfriend, check yes or no," I read the crumpled piece of notebook paper. I immediately checked yes, and had no regrets. Maybe he wasn't cute to other girls because he couldn't afford new clothes and wore holes in his shoes, but he was perfect to me. His stutter didn't bother me, nor did anything else about him. I smiled as I handed him back the paper. I leaned back In my chair imagining us getting married some day.
But in high school all of that changed, girls began clinging to him. They noticed what I had seen all along. The way his hair was unmanageable and curly. His blemish less skin the color of warm apple butter and now he's added tattoos making him even more sexier. How His thick brows that furrowed whenever he got angry. Then he begun hanging with the wrong crowd so now he could afford the nicer things in life. Ari had plenty of females and plenty of money coming in, he didnt need me anymore.

My fingers were typing faster than I could come up with thoughts. "And the revolutionary war," I spoke to myself looking over into my history book. "Ok, honey get ready for bed," I heard my mom call out. I finished typing my last sentence, on a paper I knew was a "A" , and closed my Mac. I flicked my lights off as I slid under my covers. I didn't get deep into my sleep before I heard a knock at my window. Going over to my window, I looked out.
"D*mn can-can you just open up," He furrowed his brows tugging at his jacket. I lifted it up, and watched as he climbed through. "Heat," He sighed as I closed my window back. "Where yo parents," He asked. "Sleep," I simply said. "You need to stay here tonight," I asked, already knowing what was up. He nodded, giving me complete puppy dog eyes. I knew Ari, had nowhere else to go. His mother was dead, his dad wasn't around. His grandma was in the hospital. He couch hopped from time to time but honestly, he was homeless. I handed him a blanket from my closet and a pillow off of my own bed. "The floor is yours," I pointed. "I-I can't sleep with you," He smirked, making himself a palate on the floor. "Sleep with Kenya" I frowned referring to the new girl, Ari was seen kissing at school. "Jealous," He raised his brow, as I flicked off the lights. I plopped into my bed. "Nope, You can kiss whoever you want," I spat turning onto my side, away from facing him. Kenya was a pretty, I couldn't take that away from her. She had hazel eyes and honey blonde hair. I often wondered did Ari think she was prettier than me. I sighed as tossed.
"Whats on your mind," I heard Ari ask. He always knew when something was bothering me. "Nothing," I lied. I felt a warm pair of arms wrap around me. "Why-why you lying to me," He asked as I felt him settle into the crook of my neck. "Why you talking to Kenya," I blurted out. "You like her?" "You wanna be with her," I asked not letting him get a word in. "You think she's prettier than me?" "Have you f*cked her," I asked. "Woah," He huffed. I instantly regretted I let my feelings show. We weren't together. He wasn't mine, I had no business being as jealous as I was. "Nobody's prettier then you mamas," He said calling me by the nickname he gave me. I felt my cheeks get hot. "I mean that, I-I haven't met a girl on this earth prettier than you," He said. I rolled my eyes, trying to suppress my blush. "Come're," He said turning me around to make me face him. "I don't want to be with Kenya," He admitted sounded genuine.
I rolled my eyes. He must think I'm booboo the fool. "I want-t to be with you, I've always wanted to be with you," He said. He think I'm booboo the d*mn fool. "Then why you not," I asked. He huffed. "Its difficult," He furrowed his brows. "When I get my sh*t together, imma-imma marry you," He intertwined my fingers with his. "I love you," I blurted out, letting my mouth get me in trouble once more. "I love you more," He said placing a soft kiss on my lips. He pulled me closer as the kiss began to get more passionate. I felt his tongue slide into my mouth begging for entrance. I wrapped my arms around his neck, as he pulled me so close to him I felt his rock hard manhood on my leg. He began trailing his kiss down to my neck, sucking and kissing on my flesh. I had never felt a feeling like this.
Honestly I didn't know what I was feeling, my whole body just felt hot, and my vagina was tingly. I let out a whimper as he slid his hand into my shorts, rubbing the outside of my panties. I softly moaned. "Maybe," I started but was interrupted by his finger sliding into me. "You-you so wet," He softly whispered, still kissing my neck. "Maybe we should stop," I whined pushing him away. I was afraid of where this was going, I didn't know if I was ready to lose my virginity yet. My bestfriend, Mel, said it didn't hurt but once you lose it its gone forever. "What? did I hurt you," Ari asked as his chest huffed up and down. "No," I said. He raised his eyebrow. "No," I reassured him once more. "You think imma hurt you," He asked. I shook my head no.
"You think imma leave you," He asked. I shook my head yes. "I-I just said I wanna marry you, what makes you think imma leave you, after we f*ck," He asked. "We been rocking since elementary school," he chuckled. "I wouldn't leave you," He reassured me. "I promise," He said holding out his pinky. "N*ggas will say anything to get yo cookie," Mel's voice rang in my head. Call me naive but, I gripped his pinky with my pinky. He softly kissed my lips. "We don't have to do that yet," He kissed me once more, wrapping his arms around me as we once were. I let out a sigh of relief as he settled into the crook of my neck. I felt my eyes getting heavy. I let my sleep takeover.
A loud bang awoken me. "D*mn is that the police," Ari asked wiping the sleep out of his eyes. The door flung open so hard, I think it was broken. "Tyra Imani karter, what the he*ll," I heard my mother yell. "What are you doing," My dad exclaimed with his veins popping out of his neck. "You done lost your mind, got this hoodlum in here," my dad exclaimed. "I know n*ggas like you, I use you be little n*ggas like you," My dad spat nearing Ari's face daring him to hit him. "Stay the f*ck away from my daughter," my dad spat.
