So we lnow that xena reminded sage of his younger self

She was a bit of a slow learnerlike him so sage made sure to teach her how he wanted to be taught and not yelled at and stuff

And because of the rimding and stuff he wanted to make sure xena didnt end up like him

Also sage is very worried that xena is dead because everyone thinks pests cant feel love or anything and just want violence so yeah they think host killed xena
