Veronica:
- She heard the brown sugar milk tea was great for beginners, so ordered that.
- Veronica's not a fan of too much sugar, so she asked for 25% percent sugar.
- And 50% ice, to honour JD's slushies, albeit she didn't want too much ice to overcrowd the drink.
- Neither of the toppings appealed to her so she picked the original tapioca pearls.
- When stabbing the straw in, Veronica had dented the plastic cover the first try, but second time, she got it in.
- She loved it and has been loyal to the flavour ever since.

JD:
- He originally wanted a cherry flavoured boba, but there weren't any cherry flavours available.
- So after some careful consideration, he decides to go for the hazelnut.
- 100% sugar and 100% ice.
- He saw Veronica ask for the tapioca pearls so he asked for it too.
- JD stabbed his straw in perfectly. Now for the moment of truth...
- It was different.
- He liked it, but not enough to ask for it again.
- He's thinking of trying caramel next time.

Heather Chandler:
- Though Heather also enjoyed fruits and other flavours that weren't red, she didn't want Duke or anyone else from school who happened to see them to get any ideas.

- McNamara tried selling how good the pearls were with the bubble tea, but Heather thought they were weird so didn't ask for any.

- She actually enjoyed the alternative choice of drink, until Heather told her that it looked like vomit so she threw it away.
- Next time, she went by herself to get the strawberry fruit tea and she loved it.

Heather McNamara:
- Heather actually wanted to try the oreo, but seeing her other friends get flavours that corresponded to their colours, she felt pressured and was stuck deciding on mango or pineapple.
- So she decides to get both of them.
- Both were 75% sugar and no ice.
- She got the golden tapioca.
- Heather struggled to stab the straw in so Veronica had to help her.
- She thought they were okay.
- Though the next time she went, she tried the oreo and adored it.
