"Recognized: Robin, B-01, Kid Flash, B-03."

Both boys appeared in their civilian clothes, stepping out of the Zeta Tube with bright smiles on their faces. Without a second thought, they took off running, eager to join the others. However, as they reached the room connected to the Zeta Tube, they found Miss Martian, Aqualad, [Name], and Superboy already gathered around a holoscreen.

"Did you ask him?" Robin blurted out, glancing at the group expectantly.

"What did he say?" Kid Flash added, his voice tinged with excitement.

"He is arriving now," Aqualad replied in his usual calm tone, while [Name] fought to stay focused, feeling their mind start to drift. It wasn't their fault—nothing interesting was happening yet, and they tended to doze off when things got dull.

Before Robin could say anything more, Kid Flash playfully punched him in the chest—just hard enough to jostle him, not hurt him and then the red-haired turned to look at the group. "Then what are we waiting for?"

Without waiting for an answer, Kid Flash sprinted off to greet Red Tornado, and Robin followed right behind him. [Name] sighed quietly and exchanged a glance with Aqualad as they both started walking after the two energetic boys.

"They're going to keep us on our toes, huh?" [Name] commented, a hint of amusement in their voice.

Aqualad nodded, a small smile on his face. "Yes, they seem to be the troublemakers of the group."

"Troublemakers and constant excitement," [Name] said thoughtfully, glancing ahead where Robin and Kid Flash were already bouncing around in anticipation. "Well, at least we won't have any boring days with them around I guess."

Aqualad chuckled softly. "Very true."

The two of them walked up the ramp together, trailing slightly behind the other two. Miss Martian and Superboy lingered behind, with Miss Martian smiling cheerfully as she placed her hands on her hips. "Come on, Superboy, let's join the others," she encouraged.

Superboy glanced away, crossing his arms over his chest. But after a moment, he turned and started to walk off after the group. Miss Martian didn't seem bothered by his reluctance; she simply floated up and flew after them, keeping pace above his head.

By the time the group reached one of the cave entrances, connected by a long ramp that led down from the surface above, Red Tornado was already landing in front of them.

"Red Tornado!" Kid Flash called out, waving energetically. He was practically buzzing with excitement, convinced that something big had to happen today. After all, they were finally recognized as heroes—not just sidekicks. No matter what Speedy—no, Red Arrow—had told him, Robin, and Aqualad.

"Greetings," Red Tornado replied, his voice monotone and calm as always. "Is there a reason you intercept me outside the cave?"

[Name] glanced at the android, reminding themself that Red Tornado was a robot and didn't get excited like they did. They still couldn't fully understand why the others were so worked up today.

"We hoped you had a mission for us," Aqualad explained, doing his best to keep his voice level. Even he couldn't hide the eagerness they all felt to finally head out into the field especially as heroes and not sidekicks.

"Mission assignments are Batman's responsibility," Red Tornado stated simply, his expression blank as ever.

"But it's been over a week and nothing—" Robin began, but the android cut him off.

"You'll be tested soon enough," Red Tornado said firmly. "For the time being, simply enjoy each other's company."

[Name] raised an eyebrow at that, curiosity piqued by the mention of a test. "Question—what kind of test are we talking about?" they asked, causing the others to glance at them, surprised they thought to ask.
