Sasuke left me after a while. He didn't really say why he just...
"I'm leaving." He said after 10 minutes of following me around in silence. You smiled and waved him as he walked away silently.
unfortunately for you, you were drained and it felt empty and uncomfortable outside alone. You feel like there are millions of eyes piercing into you, watching you in every-step in this unknown village. You felt lost, eery.. somewhat on edge in this sanctuary full of unfamiliar and strange faces. you're not used to not knowing anyone.. really, it was the complete opposite at home. Every single face you saw you knew, every smile was one you could recall, every voice in the distance you could give a name. Here.. it's so different. It's terrifying.
You leave the market area, feeling like your chest is squeezing, and the heat on your body rushing up all independently to your face. empty handed, you return home and throw yourself at the empty mattress. It creaked of springs under you.
this room felt like a stranger. It felt like It was trying to reject me, in a way. I know nothing of this town, yet live here? so suddenly? I feel.. un-welcomed in my rattiling mind. I knew it was all in head, but I felt strangely guilty.
you look towards your window and see the sun slowly descending.. hour by hour, minute by minute. time was always moving, never halting for anyone.
It's almost noon. You were hungry, really hungry. You haven't had a full meal in god knows when. But you also don't have a single yen-coin after you spent it all on the hospital bill you're still indebted to.
You sat lied on your bed wondering what to do about your stomach-aching situation. Should I sleep on it?
"I'm hungry..." you whine as you look around your tragically empty apartment. Sasuke's right, This place is empty.
Fixing your hair out of frustration, you stood up quickly, sliding on your slippers you opened your front door without allowing yourself to ponder another commitment. you walk out, making sure to lock it behind you when you leave.
"U..." you blurbed out, "..Uzaki?" you think as you spotted the familiar yellow hair of the other boy. Was that his name?
You felt like you were missing something. The name felt familiar. for some reason it felt intimate, the name. Looking at the ground with a finger to your chin you jumped at a sudden yelling your direction.
"Hey! You!" you hear the familiar raspy voice, "I know you! You're that girl from the woods!" you look up and see the boy. As soon as you saw him you couldn't stop staring at his headband. My clan also wore a headband, the symbol look.. similar to those of the leaf, i couldn't help but note. I quickly dismissed it.
A girl trailed behind him, honestly, you didn't even notice her. You were a bit nervous, as you and this boy's first impressions were not on the greatest terms. And another girl your age is new.. all too new.
"Hello... Uzaki?" you said with a questioning tone and an awkward smile. Instantly, the girl behind him bursted out laughing. A girl with pink hair, It was beautiful. She was beautiful. Naruto blushed and immediately turned around and tried to defend himself, loudly. You stood there awkwardly for a moment, already third wheeling to this dynamic duo, before she spoke In a... odd, puzzling manner.
"Hey Naruto, who is that girl?" She said, Honestly, you were a bit taken back. The tone and the way she phrased it seemed like one where you weren't even there. Like I was air, like she was talking through me. when, In reality I was literally 3 feet away from them-- from her. I'm not used to such blunt rudeness, such talking down too. Are these how people outside the Tentei village were raised to speak to others?
