The next three days passed in a whirlwind for Jasira, under the watchful eyes and guidance of the six goddesses who had made it their mission to prepare her for the world beyond the Temple of Mists. Aethra, patient as ever, allowed each of her sisters to spend time with the child, each imparting a unique skill or lesson that would shape the foundations of Jasira's future.

Realizing that three days wouldn't provide nearly enough time for all they wanted to teach, Thalia subtly altered the flow of time, ensuring that for every 24 hours outside the temple, 48 hours would pass within its sacred walls.

Day 1: Nyx - Mastery of Shadows and Serenity

Nyx, the goddess of the night, was the first to step forward, her presence a blend of elegance and quiet power. Her long, flowing hair, as dark as the starless sky, rippled like a shadow in the wind, and her eyes gleamed with an ageless depth, holding the secrets of the universe within them. She knelt gracefully before Jasira, her cool fingers gently brushing a strand of damp hair from the child's face. "Little one," Nyx whispered, her voice soft but commanding, "the world is vast and filled with shadows. Some may frighten you, but in time, you'll learn to find comfort in the stillness."

Jasira blinked up at her, captivated by the mysterious aura that surrounded the goddess. Nyx's presence wasn't intimidating—it was soothing, like the quiet embrace of the night itself. Jasira could sense there was wisdom in the shadows Nyx spoke of, though she didn't yet fully understand.

Nyx smiled at the curiosity flickering in Jasira's wide eyes. "Shall we play a game?" she asked. With a wave of her hand, the room around them dimmed until the soft glow of the temple torches seemed distant, and a gentle darkness enveloped them. "I'll teach you how to move through the night, unseen and unafraid."

They began with small, playful steps. Nyx guided Jasira through the temple's shadowy corridors, teaching her to move without making a sound. At first, Jasira's footsteps echoed off the marble floor, and she giggled in delight at the challenge. But Nyx's calm and patient demeanor soon quieted her laughter. The goddess encouraged her to focus, to tune in to the silence and the rhythm of her own breath. Slowly, Jasira learned to tread lightly, her small feet barely grazing the floor as if she were part of the shadows themselves.

"Feel the space around you," Nyx murmured. "Let your presence blend with the night, and you will find that darkness is not something to fear, but to befriend."

Jasira's confidence grew as the game became a lesson. She began to move with fluid grace, navigating the temple's vast halls as though they were her own hidden playground. Nyx watched her with pride, guiding her when needed but allowing the child to discover the joy in mastering the unknown.

Later, they sat together in a quiet corner of the temple, where Nyx introduced Jasira to the art of meditation. The room was still, the air heavy with the quiet hum of ancient energy. Jasira fidgeted at first, struggling to sit still, but Nyx's soothing presence calmed her. "Close your eyes," the goddess whispered, her voice like the soft rustling of leaves in the night. "Breathe in slowly, feel the world breathe with you."

Jasira obeyed, her little chest rising and falling in time with Nyx's slow, steady breaths. "In the darkness," Nyx continued, "there is always light. Even when you cannot see it, it's there—inside of you." Jasira's brow furrowed slightly as she concentrated, feeling the gentle warmth of her breath and the stillness of the air around her.

As the moments passed, Jasira's thoughts quieted, her earlier excitement and jitters fading into a sense of calm. She felt the shadows around her, not as something cold or unknown, but as peaceful companions, watching over her. With Nyx beside her, Jasira began to understand that darkness wasn't something to run from. It was a part of life, as essential as the light.
