A light blush coats my cheek when Kakashi squeezes my hand. I slowly scoot myself next to him, letting him rest his head on my shoulder.

Kushina notices our intimate actions and narrows her eyes, "Is there something I should know about, boys? Anything at all?"

Kakashi stares her dead in the eyes and brings my hand up to his face, kissing my knuckles lightly. Kushina simply smiles , "It's none of my business, but congrats."

Minato Sensei calls for us from the kitchen, coming out with a broken pair of tongs in his hand and a bowl in his hands, "The soup is almost ready, and I can bring it here if you want?"

As far as I know, Kushina doesn't usually allow for food in the living room, but Minato Sensei brings it out before I can say anything, leaving me to shrug it off and dig in.

Kushina keeps telling us stories while we eat, chatting away at whatever nonsense she wants to. Minato Sensei's cooking is GOOD, with us all asking for seconds, and Kushina inhaling the food like a human vacuum cleaner. I suppose she needs to, and don't think much of it. Rin cocks her head, staring at Kushina, "When's the baby due?"

Kushina taps her chin with her chopsticks, "Pretty soon, I think. The doctor mentioned 2 weeks, I think?" She counts off her fingers, "October 10th was the mentioned due date..."

I think of the date, "That's in 2 days!"

"Is it?"

"Yeah!"

I shake my head, "You look like you could pop that baby out any second!"

Kakashi snickers under his breath, quietly enough so Kushina couldn't hear, but enough so I could see his shoulders shaking and his hand tightening its grip on mine. Rin notices this and giggles too, causing me to burst into laughter. Kushina looks genuinely confused, but she shrugs and continues eating, sighing when Minato Sensei massages her shoulders.

I remember what happened this afternoon, and my eyes dart between Kushina and Sensei, wondering how Sensei had taken the beating I know Kushina had probably given him after kicking us out of the house that afternoon. I remember the gifts and retrieve them from the wheelchair, holding the bag out.

We go through the gifts together, Kushina getting emotional and pulling us all into a bone-crushing hug. Kushina may look pretty small, but she's strong. All three of us had to get Sensei's help to get out of her death grip, and we lay the gifts onto the table, letting Kushina wow over them.

"We decided a name for the baby by the way!" she exclaims, looking at the orange jumper, "You guys seem to have read my mind! We're going to name him Naruto, so this jumper is perfect!"

She seems to like the froggy hat more though, feeling the texture of the hat and cooing over it, as though she was already imagining how beautiful her kid would look in it.

"Is it going to be a girl or a boy?" Kakashi asks, curling up into aa ball, "We can get the correct color balloons if you can tell us."

Kushina's face falls at this, "I-i need to tell you three something."

Minato Sensei's face drops too, "Kushina, they told us to keep it a secret..."

"It doesn't matter," she protests, "If we can't trust these three, we can't trust anybody."

Rin holds Kushina's hand softly, "You can trust us Kushina. We promise not to tell anything you tell us. Anything you tell us in your house, stays in this house."

Kushina chokes out a small laugh, "Yes, I suppose that's true," she says, barely audible, "All three of you know how I have the Demon Fox inside me, right?"

All three of us nod simultaneously, and Kushina continues, "Well, since pregnancy and childbirth can be a difficult time and the seal will be weakened, I have to go to a secluded area to deliver the child. It won't be in a normal hospital, and you won't be able to visit me for about a month afterwards. The child will also have to be taken care of, so I have a small favor to ask the three of you."

I cock my head to the side, "A favor?"

Kushina smiles, "I trust the three of you can do it."

Rin chuckles, "Anything you need."

Kushina rubs her stomach, looking at the three of us, "Will you three be the baby's godparents? I know you're only 14, but Tsunade suggested someone we trust. Jiraiya has already agreed to this, and just in case he gets a mission, you three can take care of him."

Kakashi and I are flabbergasted, trying to stutter out a response, "O-of course!"

Kakashi grabs my hand tight, "We're going to be godparents, Obito!!"

I chuckle and rest my head on my hand. I've never seen Kakashi this excited for ANYTHING. I could get used to this...
