Season 6 Chapter 4: The Thrill of Destruction

As Present Mic carried the injured Kyudai, Daisuke noticed the change in emotion as the doctor stopped crying as he became strangely serious. 

Kyudai: I-It’s over… 

Present Mic: Just run already! 

Kyudai: It’s all over… All of it… The dream of the Lord of Evil… 

Back with X-Less who was done checking over Shigaraki’s motionless body, he noticed a computer in the back that was the only device still on. 

X-Less: What was that machine? ‘Is it still working because it was cushioned by the tubes? I’ll break it.’ 

He thought as he activated his Quirk as a bright laser fired out of his eyepatch, destroying the computer. But as he thought that would stop Shigaraki from awakening, the purple liquid that was underneath the unconscious i villain began to move towards a fallen cord, that sent a powerful surge of electricity. Hearing the liquid suddenly splash, X-Less glanced back at Shigaraki who was now awake from his long slumber as he covered his arms from the cold room. 

Shigaraki: It’s cold… 

He mumbled as his appearance shocked the pro hero as he stayed still in fear, and while that happened, the other pros in the team finished defeating the remaining Talking Nomus in the room as Aizawa rubbed his tired eyes. 

Present Mic: Eraser! We got him! 

Aizawa: *nods*

Back with X-Less and the newly awakened Shigaraki, the pro was still staring at the villain in shock that he suddenly woke up without any device. 

X-Less: Wh-Why…?! 

He shouted in fear and rage as he began to activate his Quirk, but was stopped when Shigaraki placed his hand over his head as his Decay Quirk activated, causing the pro hero’s body to turn to stone and crumble to pieces leaving his red cloak as the villain grabbed for himself. As everyone stood in silence and not moving, something was triggered as a large decaying of the floor and wall surged towards the pros and Daisuke as Gran Torino used his Quirk to push both Present Mic and Kyudai out of the way as Daisuke picked up Aizawa and used a grappling hook to dash out of the room. 

Gran Torino: ‘This is Shigaraki’s Decay. But it’s spreading to the things they’re touching. The only information we had about Shigaraki’s improved Quirk… Is this what it meant?’ Everyone, evacuate! Don’t touch the cracks! You’ll die! 

He shouted as the pros rushed out of the room while avoiding the cracks, and as that happened, with the evacuation group, Midoriya sensed something off as he stared at the hospital in the distance. 

Midoriya: The hospital… 

He muttered as everyone looked too confused by he sudden reaction as they didn’t know what nightmare was occurring inside that building, as Daisuke and Aizawa were zipping out of the morgue, one of the talking Nomus grabbed Daisuke’s leg, trying to knock them down. But before that could happen, a large shield spun around the Nomu’s arm, slicing it in half as the two eye’s shrunk in shock seeing Crust, who saved them, whose body began to crumble away as he gave them a thumbs up before he disappeared completely. But once the decay wall of destruction crumbled the entire hospital to pieces, the wave continued traveling through the city below as Pixie Bob tried to use her Quirk to stop it, but the wave overpowered it as Tiger quickly picked her up and tried to outrun the wave of destruction.

 As the evaluation team rushed away from the wave as Todoroki created a large wall of ice, in hopes to stop it, but that too was overpowered as Bakugo picked up more people as he blasted away and Burin tried to get in contact with the pros in the hospital.
