(UA) Chapter 9: The New Chef.

Next morning, Brob And Barbu had heard from Expunged that Bandu was "Fired." They were worried but continued on with their casual day schedule. They played Catch with their squishy lemon stress toy in the play room, then went to their devices to play games for an hour and then came their lunch, they went out into the cafeteria and were waiting for Expunged to casually come into the kitchen, but for some reason there was a curtain over the serving window.

It was strange to them but then the kitchen door opened and they could see a hand holding out the food they were gonna be served today on a bowl, it then stretched out to their table, dropped  their food, then retracted back into the door. They were quite confused but ate the food anyways. A few moments later, the vent near the door opened, a arm from the vent knocked on the door, then the door opens. The same hand came out but with a different  dish, a couple of hotdogs. The hand then shoved it into the vent, and then both the vent and the door closed. It was confusing but brob thought that the "Janitor" needed some food aswell so we shouldn't question it.

At the end of the day when expunged finishes his work and whatever he does he usually comes back to the kids and ask them how's their day. When he did come back he did infact ask that and the two replied with "yeah it was fine." But then, expunged added a new question: "how's the new chef?" The two then thought back on the day and realised that mysterious hand was the chef. They replied with "Yeah they were fine but didn't show themself for some reason." Expunged got a bit sweaty to make up a response but then he said "Well uh, the chef is new so he's a bit shy, maybe later in the year he'll possibly show himself soon!" The two got a bit suspicious but accepted it anyways and went back to bed.

(Now, let's see how the "Chef" is doing shall we?)

As Butchatrix was simply just sitting in the cold corner of the hard-floored kitchen, he heard a sudden sound from the vents. Algerbratrix was checking up on him, he could hear him rumbling and then go back into the roots of the vents, Butchatrix was feeling slightly better knowing he wasn't alone, and so did Algerbratrix.
