IN REAL LIFE !

THE NEXT FEW HOURS BEFORE HER INTERVIEW seemed so long.

Camille could feel the weight of it pressing down on her shoulders as she sat in the plush interview chair.

Her thoughts were a tangled mess—work, the upcoming movie premiere, the swirling rumours about her personal life.

It all seemed to blend together in a blur, and she hadn't even had the chance to process the events of the last few days.

Sitting under the hot studio lights, she plastered on her practiced smile and tried to focus as she adjusted the mini skirt she wore.

The interviewer greeted her warmly, but Camille knew the drill. Friendly at first, small talk to ease into the tougher questions. She could practically feel the tension brewing, the question hanging in the air about the viral photo that had dominated her social media feed for days.

"Camille, it's so great to have you here today. The fans are buzzing about your new movie—how are you feeling with the release just around the corner?" the interviewer asked, her tone light and casual.

Camille shifted in her seat, relaxing slightly. This was familiar territory. "I'm really excited," she answered smoothly. "We've worked so hard on this, and I think people are going to love it. It's different from anything I've done before."

"And you had an incredible set of co-workers," the interviewer added, her eyes twinkling. "Rudy, Storm, Keith, and Zendaya—such a talented group. What was it like working with them?"

Camille's shoulders eased a little more as she thought back to the filming process. "It was amazing. We really became like a family on set. Rudy is always the life of the party, and Storm is just so focused and driven. Zendaya is someone I've looked up to, so working with her is always fun because we have worked together before so is Keith. We had a lot of fun together, but there were definitely some long days where we were all just running on caffeine and adrenaline along with the rest of the cast."

The interviewer laughed, leaning forward with interest. "Any fun behind-the-scenes moments you can share?"

Camille grinned, grateful for the lighter tone. "There was this one time when Keith accidentally knocked over this huge prop in the middle of a really serious scene. We all tried so hard to keep it together, but it was impossible not to laugh."

The conversation flowed easily, with Camille talking about her co-stars, the challenges of filming, and what drew her to the role. But as the interview wore on, she could sense the inevitable shift coming. She saw it in the way the interviewer's smile became just a touch sharper, the way her eyes lit up with curiosity.

"So, Camille," the interviewer began, her tone still warm but now tinged with a hint of intrigue, "I have to ask—there's been a lot of buzz online recently, and not just about your movie."

Camille's heart skipped a beat, but she kept her expression neutral. She knew exactly where this was going.

The interviewer continued, her smile widening. "There's a photo that's been circulating... of you at a pizza place with someone whose back is to the camera. It's gone viral. Care to comment on that?"

There it was. Camille took a deep breath, willing herself to stay calm. She had known this would come up sooner or later, but it didn't make it any easier. "Oh, that photo," she said, keeping her tone light. "Yeah, I've seen it around."

The interviewer leaned in, clearly hoping for more. "Everyone is wondering—who's the mystery man in the photo? A new relationship, perhaps?"

Camille smiled, though her heart was racing. She wasn't ready to share anything personal, especially not about Jude. They were still figuring things out, and the last thing she wanted was to drag him into the spotlight before either of them were ready. "Honestly, it was just a casual night out with a friend," she said, hoping to deflect. "Nothing more than that."

The interviewer wasn't letting it go that easily. "Just a friend?" she pressed, her eyes gleaming. "Because from the way you two looked, it seemed like there might be something more."

Camille forced a laugh, shaking her head. "You know how these things go—someone snaps a picture, and suddenly the whole internet thinks there's a love story. But really, it was just pizza."

The interviewer laughed too, though Camille could tell she wasn't entirely convinced. "Well, people are definitely talking. But I guess we'll have to wait and see if anything more happens, right?"

Camille smiled politely, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. "Right," she said, hoping to steer the conversation back to safer ground. "For now, I'm just focused on work."

The rest of the interview passed by in a blur, with more questions about the movie and her career.

When the interview finally wrapped up, Camille stood up from her chair, offering a polite smile to the crew as they began to pack up.

The weight of the past hour lingered, the conversation about her movie still fresh in her mind, but her thoughts kept drifting elsewhere.

With steady hands, she gathered her things—her phone, her script, her water bottle—moving through the motions like she'd done a thousand times before. But this time, something was different.

Stepping out of the studio and into the late afternoon sun, Camille pulled her bag tighter over her shoulder, the warmth of the day settling over her.

Despite the chaos of her life, the unending questions from the media, and the weight of the photo, her thoughts always seemed to return to Jude.

Always.

Always
