~Ashes of Kings~

Jon Snow stood amidst the ruins of King's Landing, the acrid scent of smoke and ash filling his nostrils. The city that had once been vibrant and bustling was now a desolate wasteland, the remnants of what had been reduced to charred corpses and crumbling buildings. Everywhere he looked, there were reminders of the devastation wrought by Daenerys, his queen, his love.

The ground beneath him was scorched, blackened by dragonfire, and he could hardly comprehend the magnitude of what had transpired. What had been a battle for the Iron Throne had spiraled into a nightmare, and Jon's heart sank deeper with every step he took.

Beside him, Davos Seaworth and Tyrion Lannister were equally silent, their faces set in grim lines. Jon glanced at them, seeking some semblance of solidarity in their shared horror, but found only shock and disbelief reflected in their eyes. They were all witnesses to a horror that none of them could have anticipated—a nightmare come to life.

"Look at this place," Davos muttered, shaking his head as he surveyed the destruction. "How could she do this?"

Jon swallowed hard, the weight of the question pressing heavily on his chest. He had followed Daenerys, trusted her, believed in her vision for a better world. But now, after witnessing the brutality of her actions, he felt the ground shift beneath him. Was this the queen he had pledged himself to? Was this the liberator who sought to bring peace to the realm?

Tyrion remained silent for a long moment, his expression a mask of contemplation mixed with fury. "She believes she did the right thing," he finally said, though his voice lacked conviction. "She thinks this was necessary."

Jon shook his head. "Necessary? She's killed thousands of innocents. This isn't liberation; it's slaughter." The words spilled from his lips, hot with anger and despair. He felt an overwhelming urge to confront her, to demand an explanation for her actions. But deep down, he feared what he might find.

"I have to speak with her," Jon said, turning away from the devastation, but Tyrion stepped in front of him.

"Don't," Tyrion warned, his voice low but firm. "You're not the only one who's lost something here, Jon. You're not the only one who has to answer for this."

Jon clenched his jaw, his frustration mounting. "You're just going to let her continue this madness?"

"She's the queen," Tyrion replied, his tone icy. "And we all know what happens to those who oppose her. You need to be careful."

With that, Tyrion turned to leave, heading toward the Red Keep alone. Jon called after him, desperate for support, but Tyrion waved him off. "I can't take your soldiers as guards," he said. "If I'm to face her, I have to face her alone."

As Tyrion walked away, Jon felt a sense of dread settle over him. He turned back to Davos, who was watching the destruction with a somber expression. "We can't let this continue," Jon insisted, his voice urgent. "We have to stop her."

Davos nodded, but his eyes were filled with uncertainty. "And how do you plan to do that? You think the Unsullied will listen? Grey Worm?"

Just as he said the name, a chilling realization washed over Jon. He turned his gaze toward the Unsullied, who were gathered nearby, executing the remaining Lannister soldiers who had surrendered. The sight made Jon's stomach churn. They were supposed to protect the innocent, not become the very monsters they fought against.

With determination coursing through him, Jon marched toward Grey Worm, who stood in stoic silence as the bodies piled up around him. "Grey Worm!" Jon called, his voice carrying over the din of the aftermath.
