Pragati fell down transforming into her human form and rushed to Raghav worriedly.
Pr~Raghav! (she caressed him and picked him in his arms as he bled in his phoenix form) fikr nahi karo, main abhi isay nikaal doon gi
Gathering all her strength, she pulled out the arrow, it cawed loudly.
Pr~Raghav, tum jaldi se apne insaani roop mein aa jao, main tumhara ghaav bhar doon gi
She placed him on the floor. Not being able to transform, it cawed helplessly.

She recalled all their moments after they became humans. She looked at him while crying.

She walked off picking him carefully. They went home, she bandaged his wound. He wanted to fly but couldn't, she became emotional.

Raghav slept more due to weakness, Pragati never left his side and used to feed him bird food. Even she used to transform and eat the same food.

Pragati used to replace his bandage daily and carefully cleaned his feathers. He used to bow his head and she caressed him. She hugged him tearfully.

As the days passed, Raghav's wound slowly healed, but he still couldn't transform into his human form. Pragati took care of him, feeding him, cleaning his feathers, and keeping him company.
One day, while Pragati was out gathering food, Raghav decided to try and transform again. He closed his eyes, focused all his energy, and willed himself to change.
But it didn't work.
Raghav felt a surge of frustration and sadness. He missed his human form, the feeling of clothes on his skin, the ability to be independent, he missed everything.
Just then, Pragati returned with food. She saw Raghav's sad expression as he was looking down and immediately knew something was wrong. She came and sat beside him caressing his back.
Pr~kya hua Raghav? (he saw his wings drooping, the sparkle in his eyes was lost) achha chalo, kha kar phir hum udaan bharengay, theek? (he walked away as she offered him food, she stood up and went to the direction he was standing in) nahi jaana? Theek hai, kha toh lo, (she offered him food again but he turned his face) khana bhi nahi hai? Kiun magar? Dekho Raghav, main jaanti hoon tum bohat udaas ho, lekin is ka ye matlab toh nahi na ke tum aise mayoos ho jao, main koshish kar rahi hoon tareeka dhoondne ki, promise. (he still stood sad, she kept the food aside and cupped his feathery body picking him and placing him in his lap making him sit) Main sab theek kar doon gi Raghav, please kuchh kha lo, please?
Raghav snuggled closer to her, she caressed him. He didn't eat even after her many trials and slept in her lap. She smiled sadly seeing him.
