"Are you alright, Florence?" asked Yoon-tae as he and Florence were sitting on their balconies, drinking their coffee and tea "Not really," answered Florence "What's wrong?" asked Yoon-tae "The other day I went to my parent's house for dinner and they told me something that shocked me," answered Florence "What is it? Do you want to talk about it?" asked Yoon-tae "I'm getting married," replied Florence with tears in her eyes "That's a shock," said Yoon-tae "My family has a tradition of arranged marriages. And I am the last member of my family to receive an arranged marriage," explained Florence "When's the wedding?" asked Yoon-tae with a sad expression on his face "Next week. Everything's prepared, the guests have RSVPed. And this weekend I leave for the hotel," answered Yoon-tae "Funny thing you should mention about getting married because..." said Yoon-tae "Because what?" asked Florence "I also had dinner with my parents a few weeks ago and they told me the same thing," answered Yoon-tae "Really?" asked Florence "Yes. Why would I marry someone I don't know?" asked Yoon-tae "I have been asking myself the same question," answered Florence "And just like your wedding, mine is taking place next week as well," said Yoon-tae "When are you leaving?" asked Florence "Monday next week," answered Yoon-tae "Which hotel are you staying at?" asked Florence "Waterton Park Hotel. Why do you ask?" asked Yoon-tae "That's the same hotel I'm staying at. But night before my wedding I'll be staying at my parents house," answered Florence "Maybe we could meet up sometime before your wedding," said Yoon-tae "I'd like that," said Florence.
That weekend Florence left for the hotel.

Three days before the wedding, Florence was going to her parents' suite as they invited her to meet her future in-laws. As she was about to knock on the door she heard the conversation going on inside "Your son is perfect for my daughter Florence," said Mrs Jacobs "And your daughter is perfect for my son Yoon-tae. I'm glad that we've made this arrangement," said Mr Park "I'm marrying... MY NEIGHBOUR!!!" thought Florence as she knocked on the door. Mr Jacobs answered the door "Come in sweetheart," said Mr Jacobs "Mr and Mrs Park this is our daughter Florence. Florence these are your future in-laws, Mr Park Hwan, his wife Mrs Park Duri. And their daughter Mi-young," said Mrs Jacobs "It's nice to meet you. Can you tell me a little bit about your son, please?" asked Florence "My brother has recently moved to Wakefield after completing his military service. And lives in an apartment on Burgage Square," answered Mi-young "And he works as a meditation and yoga instructor at BRANCH," answered Mr Park "Would you like to see a photo of our son?" asked Mrs Park "Yes please," replied Florence. Mrs Park took out her phone, opened the photo album app and showed a family photo. And in that photo was her neighbour Yoon-tae. Florence looked at her family and in-laws with a surprised look on her face "I know him!" exclaimed Florence "What do you mean "know him"?" asked Mr Jacobs "I mean I've already met Yoon-tae. He's my neighbour. He lives in the apartment next door to mine," answered Florence "You mean you've already met him?" asked Mrs Jacobs "Yes, mother. I met him while having a cup of tea on my balcony, and he was there on his balcony next to mine. We began chatting, and two months ago we had dinner together. But during our spending time together I started to develop feelings for him. Romantic feelings actually," answered Florence "You mean you love our son?" asked Mr Park "Yes. I'm in love with your son," answered Florence "He did tell us that he's in love with Florence here," whispered Mrs Park to her husband "She did tell us that she's in love with their son, Yoon-tae," whispered Mrs Jacobs to her husband "Florence, we have a favour to ask," said Mrs Park "What is it, Mrs Park?" asked Florence "Please call mother and father," answered Mr Park "OK, what is it, mother?" asked Florence "Could please keep the fact that you're marrying our son a secret?" asked Mrs Park "We would like it to be a surprise for him," said Mr Park "Of course I will. I love your son so much," answered Florence "You're going to make a great wife for our son," said Mr Park "I'm sure I will," said Florence.

Two days before the wedding, Florence was standing on the balcony of her hotel room when she heard a familiar voice "Hello, Florence," said Yoon-tae "Oh! Hello, Yoon-tae. I guess you're staying here for your wedding," said Florence "Yes, I just did something for my bride-to-be," said Yoon-tae "I can say the same about my groom-to-be," said Florence "Look at us, chatting on our balconies. Like we always do," said Yoon-tae "Except we're not on our balconies. We're on our hotel room balconies," said Florence "Same situation, but different balconies," said Yoon-tae "True," said Florence "Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" asked Yoon-tae "Are you sure? What would your parents and your bride-to-be think when they find out?" asked Florence "They're not going to find out," answered Yoon-tae "Then I'd be glad to join you for dinner tonight," said Florence "I'll come round to your room at 6pm," said Florence "See you then," said Florence. "Keeping that he's marrying me a secret is so exciting," thought Florence.

Later that evening, Florence wore her favourite red velvet dress and waited for Yoon-tae to arrive. When she heard a knock on the door, she answered it and saw Yoon-tae standing in front of her "You've certainly cleaned yourself up tonight, handsome," said Florence "I'll take that as a compliment, beautiful," said Yoon-tae which made Florence blush "Shall we?" asked Yoon-tae as he offered his arm "We shall," said Florence as she took his arm and they made their way to The Grand Cafe. They wined, dined, talked and laughed at each other's jokes, and after dinner they went for a walk around the hotel's grounds "I had my wedding rehearsal today," said Yoon-tae "I got mine tomorrow," said Florence "I don't like the fact that my friend Eun-woo's wife Bong-cha had to stand in for my bride-to-be," said Yoon-tae "You think that's bad, my dad is going to stand in for my groom-to-be," said Florence "That is bad," said Yoon-tae "And awkward too," said Florence. Suddenly Yoon-tae stopped walking "Florence, I have something to tell you," said Yoon-tae "What is it?" asked Florence "We've been friends since the day we met, spending time with you each day is like a new adventure everyday. Every moment I spend with you feels magical. And time slows down whenever you're around. And ever since you've helped me that day, you've helped me to look forward to each day of the week. I've tried to contain my feelings for you, but I can no longer hide them and I think it's finally time I let you know that you mean more to me than anything in the world. I love you, Florence. Deeply love you. I hope you can accept my love by taking me as your lover," said Yoon-tae. Florence listened to every word Yoon-tae said "Yoon-tae, I feel the same way as you do," said Florence "Really?" asked Yoon-tae "Yes and I will take you as my lover because I love you. And we're meant to be together," answered Florence. After Florence accepted Yoon-tae's love for her, both Yoon-tae and Florence leaned in and shared their first kiss together "Shall we head back to our rooms?" asked Yoon-tae "I stayed the night with you in your apartment. I think you should return the favor," said Florence "I like where this is going," said Yoon-tae as they headed back to Florence's hotel room.
