"Why are you smiling?" asked Rebecca "Yeah, you never smiled like that before," said Jamie as he, Florence and Rebecca were eating lunch during their shift "Have you met someone?" asked Rebecca "No one special. Just a new neighbour," answered Florence "Man or woman?" asked Jamie "A man," replied Florence "What is he like?" asked Rebecca "He's friendly," answered Florence "Is he in a relationship?" asked Jamie "No he isn't currently in a relationship," replied Florence "Oh, I might leave Michael and go after this neighbour of yours," said Jamie "He's not gay," said Florence "Sorry," said Jamie "What's his name?" asked Rebecca "Park Yoon-tae," answered Florence "Where's he from?" asked Jamie "Seoul," replied Florence "So he's South Korean then?" asked Rebecca "Yes. And he's just finished his military duties," answered Florence "Good for him," said Jamie "I bet that means he's got a great physique," said Rebecca "That's for him to know. And for us never to find out," said Florence "You never know," said Jamie "I guess you're right, Jamie," said Florence "He's always right," said Rebecca "Anyway I'll be seeing him again later when I have my cup of tea," said Florence "You sure do love your balcony," said Jamie "Very fairytale at this rate," said Rebecca "Oi!" exclaimed Florence "So what happened to your previous neighbours?" asked Jamie "They moved out. Turned out that they're friends with Yoon-tae. And they were only living there, to see to the decorating of his apartment," answered Florence "Well this Yoon-tae sounds like a great neighbour," said Rebecca "I hope we'll get to meet him one day," said Jamie "But first let he and I get to know each other. Anyway, we better get back to work. We got surgeries to assist before my shift ends," said Florence.
Meanwhile, back at Mulberry House, Burgage Square, Yoon-tae had trouble sleeping. All he kept thinking about was meeting his new neighbour Florence and what she'd be doing at work."Well, that's me done for the day," said Florence "By the way, Florence, what are you doing in two months?" asked Rebecca. Well, I got my annual leave then. Why do you ask?" asked Florence. "I was wondering if you fancy getting together with our friends for a girls' night out then," answered Rebecca "I'd love that," said Florence "Great! I'll text you the details before then," said Rebecca as Florence left for home.
When Florence arrived home, she changed into her pyjamas and went straight to bed. But she, too, was having trouble falling asleep. All she could think about was her new neighbour, whom she had met the day before, and how much she enjoyed conversing with him."OK everyone, that is it for today's Tibetian Singing bowl meditation session. Thank you for your participation. I'll see some of you guys later," said Yoon-tae as he concluded his meditation class "Good class today?" asked Matthew "Yep," answered Yoon-tae as he and Matthew tidied away the meditation cushions and set up for Yoon-tae's yoga class that afternoon "I met my neighbour yesterday," said Yoon-tae "That's good," said Matthew "Her name's Florence Jacobs," said Yoon-tae "That's a nice name," said Matthew "She's named after Florence Nightingale," said Yoon-tae "What is she like?" asked Matthew "She's friendly," answered Yoon-tae "What does she do?" asked Matthew "She's a nurse at Pinderfields hospital," answered Yoon-tae "Hench who's she's named after," said Matthew "I guess so," said Yoon-tae "What do you think your neighbour is doing now?" asked Matthew "She'll be in bed asleep by now," answered Yoon-tae "Why would she be asleep right now?" asked Matthew "She works nights at Pinderfields," answered Yoon-tae "Oh right. I understand now," said Matthew "We all need that all important sleep," said Yoon-tae "Did you have a girlfriend back home?" asked Matthew "No. I never had one," answered Yoon-tae "Or a boyfriend?" asked Matthew "I'm not the kind of guy you're thinking of," answered Yoon-tae "I'm just asking. Because you never know what life has in store for you," said Matthew "You're right about that," said Yoon-tae "Who knows, you'll be going to BTS concerts with this Florence if things turn out unexpectedly," said Matthew "We don't know that," said Yoon-tae "Our hearts know what it wants. And no matter how many times we deny it, it'll always get us in the end," said Matthew "That is the most wisest thing you've ever said to me so far," said Yoon-tae "I try," said Matthew "Well now that we've tidied up in here, shall we go and grab some lunch somewhere?" asked Yoon-tae "Yeah let's go!" answered Matthew.
Just like the day before, Florence followed her usual routine: she got up, ate breakfast, went back to bed, got dressed, and did some cleaning before making a cup of tea and hoping to see her new neighbour before going to work.
"How was work?" asked Yoon-tae "Oh nothing exciting happened. Just give this patient his medicine, give that patient her medicine, assist with surgeries and take patient notes. You know all that kind of stuff," answered Florence "I bet most days are very tiring," said Yoon-tae "And stressful too. But at the end of the day it can be rewarding," said Florence "What do you when you have some time off?" asked Yoon-tae "I mostly clean my apartment and watch a k-drama or two. But now and again I hang out with my friends. We go to a restaurant and a cocktail bar," answered Florence "That sounds nice," said Yoon-tae "What do you in your spare time?" asked Florence "Not much really. Most of my friends are back home. But thankfully I'm making new friends here," answered Yoon-tae "What kind of music are you into?" asked Yoon-tae "Change in line of questions? I'm into K-pop actually," said Florence "Who's you're favourite band?" asked Yoon-tae "I got two favourites. BTS and Stray Kids," answered Florence "Really? They're my favourite bands too," said Yoon-tae "Have you seen them in concert?" asked Florence "Yes I did. I've seen BTS with my sister. She's crazy about them," answered Yoon-tae "What's your sister like?" asked Florence "Firstly she's kind and friendly. But when it comes to BTS, she goes crazy. And I mean really crazy," answered Yoon-tae "I can say the same about my sister too. Her room is wall-to-wall BTS, Astro and EXO posters," said Florence "Do you have any posters?" asked Yoon-tae "One BTS and one Stray Kids," answered Florence "OK. Who's your bias?" asked Yoon-tae "RM from BTS and Felix from Stray Kids," answered Florence "Mine is Jungkook, he reminds me of my little sister," said Yoon-tae "What's your favourite K-drama?" asked Yoon-tae "HwaRang: Poet Warrior Of Youth," answered Florence "Let me guess the reason behind your answer. Is it because V from BTS is in it?" asked Yoon-tae "That's right!" answered Florence "HwaRang is also my favourite K-drama for the same reason," said Yoon-tae "Maybe we could watch it together sometime," said Florence "I'll hold on to you for that," said Yoon-tae "One episode at yours and the next episode at mine," said Florence "Deal," said Yoon-tae "Anyway I better get myself organised for work right now," said Florence "I hope you have a good nights' work today," said Yoon-tae "I hope so too," said Florence as she got up and made her way back into her apartment.
